"Communications with UPS advice@localhost lost" when using an other USB device
I use Debian jessie with nut-server 2.7.2-1+b3. Yesterday I've configured it for my new Advice PRS850 (a UPS with USB interface). I also have an USB webcam (and also USB mouse and keyboard, but that doesn't matter). When I start the program Cheese (a program which uses the webcam), I receive the following broadcast message: "Communications with UPS advice at localhost lost"

Is it possible to do some more testing with shorter timeouts so that the battery doesn't get depleted? You would need to record the exact time when it shuts down, I think. Sure, I will do the test during the weekend. I'm not

Updates on this: 1) Making progress in the related Dev list thread here: https://alioth-lists.debian.net/pipermail/nut-upsdev/2019-June/007440.html I’ll keep that thread up to date with progress as I go. But if there are specific things it would make sense to test here, just let me know. Otherwise, I figure reducing redundancy makes sense? 2) I tried disabling usbcore.autosuspend, but

USB device descriptor read error with Eaton 5E UPS
