Some one else (not me -- I have RedHat 7 and can't seem to get a compiler to work) built the current Corel WPO CVS WINE and it seems to work OK except that when I close an application with a full screen it remembers that. But, when I reopen it it is a little to my left and too high to see the decorations on the window frame. Can this be changed with a configuration file somewhere or

...e permissions on the folders are 755 but the files inside the folder have the correct permission (775). If the same user creates a directory in the SAMBA shared folder by connecting to the Solaris server using TELNET, directory and file permissions are correct. Any idea? The printing howto is a little vague in this area. How do I go about printing through ghostscript from windows? I know how to teach ghostscript to print the ttfs (generate the appropriate afms, add them to the fontmap). Where do I place the afms for wine to use? If I provide afms for each truetype font for wine, and then use a postscript printer ppd file, and set lpt1 to be |lpr, will this

I've been scouring the web and have picked up bits and pieces, but nothing concrete on this issue. I currently have a samba server that is set up to use NIS from another server. What I'd like to do is either a) convert the ypcat password list into a smbpasswd file or b) just use smbpasswd to create entries for a few users. In other words, I want the smbpasswd file to provide passwords
