Limiting bandwidth to around max. 8k per second - possible? UPDATE
...a 320x240 resolution, too (as sadly
VP3 does not support 160x120. Seems to be a little senseless, though.
Whatever we do, we dont get the bandwidth down enough. Now, we need one
of the "standard resolutions" (160x120 or multiples) for some cameras
here to work.
Any hint?

Web access to CVS tree - any chance this will be re-enabled at one point?
I tried it out on the Vp32 site - nothing in there. Says something of
not matching the current tag. Nice.
Theora's website does not have a web surface.

Using the VP3 ENCODER in a DIRECTSHOW GRAPH wit defined quality and BANDWIDTH - HOW?
...t least the bandwidth. I am
feeding full frames from the camera with a given maximum framerate (10),
and have a bandwidth of around 90kbit for the video stream.
How? The codec seems to ignore any output side bandwidth setting I have
entered.
Can anyone recommend, please?

Limiting bandwidth to around max. 8k per second - possible? Working?
...t moment that is
not a problem - we run a .3 second delay. But we are CONSTANTLY
generating WAY too much data.
Any hint here? Might be the first big size project that you guys can
take officially as a reference, but not if we have to stay with Intel
Indeo because it does not work.

It's quiet. TOO quiet.
Whatever became of Ogg Theora?
There seems to be still almost no news from Xiph or its
developers regarding Ogg Theora. None at all since Mid-December,
when the release of Alpha 2 was pushed back to a month ago...
No news on plans for the second Alpha? No news of development
"roadmaps"? No news on current developments or challenges that
are stalling development? No CVS updates

Limiting bandwidth to around max. 8k per second -
Yes, that sounds like a good idea :-) Well, maybe on the weekend. I have
managed to pass by any sort of "bitmap manipulation" so far.
Actually I would propably take off 4 pixels :-)

VP3 Compressor Settings
Hi Guys,
I was wondering what the idea behind the "Key Frame" settings are in the VP3
codec settings. As far as I could ascertain (from browsing through the
source code) the VP3 codec ignores the lpbiPrev and lpPrev members of the
ICCOMPRESS structure.
My conclusion is thus that each frame passed to the codec is compressed
individually and that the redundant information based upon
