Thanks for Dovecot
Hi all, Thanks for making Dovecot. I just transitioned from Debian Wheezy to Void Linux. It was fairly easy to get Dovecot working on my Void box, and having Dovecot makes all of my email activities easier by doing one thing and doing it right. Thank you for such great software. SteveT

Sorting Text Frames
[Using 2.0.1 under Windows XP] There are a few pages on the internet that list equivalents of "thank you" in many languages. I downloaded one from a Google search and I thought that it would be interesting and a good R exercise to sort the file into the order of the expressions, rather than the languages. I tidied up the web page and got it into the format that it was nearly in:

reading multiple key=value pairs per line
Hi, Thanks for a great environmentfor statistical computing :-) I have some input data in a file ("input_kvpairs.csv") of the form key1=23, key2=67, key3="hello there" key1=7, key2=22, key3="how are you" key1=2, key2=77, key3="nice day, thanks" Now in my head I wish it was of the form ("input.csv") #key1, key2, key3 23, 67, "hello

A note of thanks
Tom, Just a quick note of thanks that I''ve been putting off for a week now. I''ve installed 3 firewalls in my life, the other two took at least a day to get up and running. Shorewall ran the first time I fired it up. The config files are a bit overwhelming in their samples and examples but that''s refreshing compared to the other 2 I installed. The documentation is as

Mongrel 1.0.1 Officially Released
Alright folks, after nearly a month of pounding and beating up the Mongrel 1.0 RC1 release we''re putting out the official 1.0.1 release. Read all about it at the (much funnier) news posting: http://mongrel.rubyforge.org/news.html For those people in a hurry, the gems should hit the mirrors and you can install using your usual commands. Refer the the above page for more help.

EVERYONE USING DOVECOT PLEASE SIGN: Thanks, Administrators of Dovecot!
With the release of dovecot 2.0, the community of the Dovecot mailling list, and us at Shelton Computers, would sincerely like to thank the developers of Dovecot. For, if it were not for you, we would be stuck with Courier and would not have the impressive features of Sieve, as opposed to the unmanageable scripts, by end users, of maildrop. *Our gratitude goes to, but not limited to:* *Timo

Thank You
Just reaching out to say thanks to all the folks that keep CentOS, EPEL, this mailing list, etc running. It is probably partly due to having used Red Hat for over two decades, but I always have a good experience with CentOS. The recent servers that I have setup with CentOS 8 are purring along. Thanks for the work and support. Cheers, Ian

Encrypted samba mount on Linux
Thanks Steve for Quick response!! *My question is*: => Accessing encrypted shares fully depends on kernel fix (as you provided), If no? => How can we use /etc/samba/smb.conf "smb encrypt = mandatory" parameter to access encrypted shares? Because using this parameter I am not able to access samba-shares either from windows/RHEL client Thanks Amit On 04/03/2017 11:48 AM,

New PowerPC Code Owner
Hi, everyone, I'm currently the code owner for the PowerPC target. I worked on the PowerPC target for many years, and that was a lot of fun, but I've not been directly involved in development for PowerPC for some time. I would like to nominate Nemanja Ivanovic for the role of PowerPC target code owner. Insofar as a code owner is responsible for making sure that patches are reviewed,
