AEX800 (TDM800 Express) - not detected
I have a AEX800 PCI Express card - sort of a TDM800 with PCI-Express. (or AEX844 - 4FXS & 4FXO) I downloaded Asterisk Now - and have got this loaded on a new motherboard (Intel with 3 PCI, 3 PCI Express - etc). (Downside on PCI-Express is the physical support the express slot gives (very little) compared with an 'old' standard PCI slot!...

zttool says tdm800 is OK, but it won't recieve calls.
I have a TDM800 that is installed and working. (TDM800 + 2 X QUAD FXO). Zttool says it is configured, ok, and there are no issues. Ztcfg -vvv shows that all the channels are configured. Zap show channels in the CLI show all 8 channels configured as they are supposed to be. When I plug in a pots line from...

TDM400 and TDM800 fxo stop answering
Hi, I have two asterisk with the Digium TDM400 installed on the first and the TDM800 installed on the second. Both systems are linux Debian 4.0 whith kernel 2.6.18 and asterisk 1.2.24. Often the cards stop answering calls, and I can't make or receive calls; I need to reboot the system or manually reload the zaptel modules to restore it. I've tried zaptel versions 1.2.18, 1...

I am specially interested in the FXO/FXS module. -- Gustavo Felisberto (HumpBack) Web: http://dev.gentoo.org/~humpback Blog: http://blog.fe...

Multiple TDM400p cards in one machine -- no longer an issue?
...problems etc I have seen some posts recently that seem to indicate it is in fact possible these days thanks to some updated firmware perhaps? ..... I just need to have two in the server because the 4 ports aren't enough ... I'd rather just expand by one card rather than get a TDM2400 (or TDM800??) Anyone had recent success/failure with this sort of thing? -- Chris Earle

Question on phone line "pass through"
Hi all, I have a TDM2400 full of FXS cards and a TDM800 full of FXO cards. If I have a fax machine on the FXS port dialing out through asterisk on the TDM800 FXO, should I be expecting any problems? Or should this just work as expected? (ie, flawlessly with the asterisk box essentially transparent to the whole operation). I am doing it this way to al...

convert zaptel to dahdi?
I am trying to get a zaptel install converted to dahdi. I can get dahdi installed, and the pseudo device even shows up; however, dahdi show channels shows me nothing. There is a TE122 and a TDM800 in there, and neither show up. dahdi show status shows both cards, and dahdi tools show that the cards are there, working, and have no alarms. What am I missing? Busy out a zap channel?
Is there a way to busy out a Zap channel? I have a customer who is having problems with a line connected to a TDM800 card and we would like to busy out that line. Since that line is the head of the hunt group I cannot simply disable that channel, I need to busy the line so calls will come over the other lines. -- ?Telecomunicaciones Abiertas de M?xico S.A. de C.V. Deadlock in Asterisk 1.4.29.1
Hello, I have previously open a topic on the mailing list about deadlocking on Asterisk 1.2.35. question on meetme
...ummy or zaprtc) in order for MeetMe to work at all, but that doesn't help you use AGI with SIP channels: They have no capacity to use any AGI script at all. If they try to, they get no audio. ----------------- I am using 1.4.18 and I am hearing no audio. just like it says. I do have a digium TDm800 card in my box. Does asterisk 1.6beta have this same issue still???? How do people get around this issue? I am looking for a meetme conferencing in a handful of phones, call AGI to play a wave file then hangup.... My meetme is a pure SIP meetme. Thanks, Jerry

Problem with TDM808
Dear List, I have just installed a Digium TDM808 (8 fxo port) on an Asterisk 1.6.3. When I try making a call with a .call file, the call goes straight to the dialplan and start executing the dialplan even before the called party has pick up. Anybody knows why by any chance? Any help would be appreciated. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:

Slow hangup - Australia - analog - incoming calls
I have had to install a TDM800 in a site, as the telco has held off installing ISDN indefinitely.. It's all fine except for the fact that it takes ages to hang up the line (6 or more rings), and sometimes doesn't even bother. This is only on incoming calls - outgoing calls work perfectly. Is there any good tricks for a...

FXO recommendation
Hi all, With the gamut of FXO cards out there, I'm looking for a recommendation for home use. I have a nicely working Asterisk 1.4 system that just requires an FXO card to connect my NTL PSTN to it. My previous X101P clone seems to have kicked the bucket. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Regards Kyle -- Kyle Gordon kyle@lodge.glasgownet.com http://lodge.glasgownet.com
