I never had this problem with the clients when the server was running RedHat 6.2 with Samba 2.2.8 and LPD. The server has been replaced with a server running a RedHat Enterprise Linux rebuild (TaoLinux). The Samba version is 3.0.9 I already checked my cups files and had delete print jobs enabled from the start, also when I log into cups I don't see any printjobs. You understand that I cannot make a repository for each package :) If you're concerned about the few core packages that are replaced, there is a Yum patch in TaoLinux that allows to protect the base system by not replace Red Hat core packages by third party ones. Hello, I encountered a problem when upgrading from 3.3 to 3.4 on i386. The machine is a production name server running bind. Looks like the new rpm moved my named.conf to .rpmsave and chkconfig'ed bind to off. That's really bad. A more gentle behavior would have been to save the new named.conf to .rpmnew and not mess with initscripts. Anyone else notice that? Francois Caen
