Newbie with BibleWorks
Hi all, I'm a complete newcomer to Wine and hoped to be able to run a Windows App out of the box: BibleWorks7. It installs (standard Installshield) although it shouts about a lot of 'fixme' stuff in the process. On trying to run the program, it looks as if it going to start, showing its main windows including some hebrew/greek fonts, but puts up a "Register Now?"

Re: one step closer to Flash MX 2004 installation
As one last option, try installing Internet Explorer - the installer might be depending on stuff that it provides. It may simply be a deficiency in Wine. File a bug report, and please post your experiences in the AppDB page for it here: http://appdb.winehq.org/appview.php?versionId=2294 If you want to maintain the app and test it with new wine versions, feel free. Thanks, Scott Ritchie On

lsmeans
...his thread. My question refers to John Fox's comments in the discussion of lsmeans from https://stat.ethz.ch/pipermail/r-help/2008-June/164106.html John you said, "It wouldn't be hard, however, to do the computations yourself, using the coefficient vector for the fixed effects and a suitably constructed model-matrix to compute the effects; you could also get standard errors by using the covariance matrix for the fixed effects." I've been able to make use of all of that except for the 'suitably constructed model-matrix' part. I've looked through some other threads...

how many records for suitable regression
Dear community, I was wondering if it's possible to know if you have enough data for a regression study. I remember you must have more data than parameters to obtain, but I'd like to know if there was something more sophisticated. [LLVMdev] open source multithreaded garbage collector suitable for LLVM applications?
Hello All Does any know about some opensource multithread-compatible (or concurrent) garbage collector library, if possible suitable for LLVM? (I mean that I want several mutator threads; the collector can be stoptheworld or concurrent ....) H.Boehm's conservative GC is multithread compatible, but seems quite slow (allocation is about the time of a C malloc). And it is well known that

orc vs mcjit
Thanks Praveen. Is it suitable for LLVM 7.0.1 ? Apart from flexibility, do we see any compile time improvements as well with ORC?
