Diagnostics for single-observation deletion in Cox models
Hi, Storer and Crowley (JASA 1985) presented an approach for approximating the changes in maximum partial-likelihood parameter estimates for the Cox model when a single observation is deleted. Is there an R implementation of this approach? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks. Best, Ravi. ---------...

Providing Telewest in the UK with per extens ion outbound callerID
Would be nice to do both (type 2 and 3 I believe in Oftel terms), but I'd accept just our DDI if that was all I could get. [LLVMdev] Running Objective-C in the JIT
Thanks for the info! Yes, the problem is certainly that the JITed code isn't registering its classes, but even after digging through all the runtime code I can't find anything that seems suitable for doing this.. The nearest function I could find was _objc_init_image, but that seems to be for win32! I assume that the way it works must be that clang creates some static data structures

Grandstream * Kingston Comms
...QA test, will be released in next 2 or 3 weeks. Please keep tuned. Sounds like good news. Also if anyone wants the new firmware it's at http://voip.orbital.net/gs11 As for Kingston Comm's if anyone in the UK is connecting ( E1 ) with them you could do worse than seek the advice of Darren Storer . He has been a great help during my initial setup phase. He has made my life a lot easier. ISDN/SS7 book?
hi some time ago, I asked the list of a good book for learning ISDN and SS7. I don't need to know how to write a channel driver or something; I just want to know more about the possibilities and what's really sent back and forth. I was told the book "ISDN and SS7: Architectures for Digital Signaling Networks" by Uyless Black (ISBN 0132591936) was a good choice, but this

Calling CHRIS BARNET (PRI / E100P / ntl)
Chris you might know the answer to my HUUUUUUGE problem A few weeks ago you posted this message: "I have an ISDN PRI supplied by NTL (ex Diamond Cable, Nottingham) which is currently working happily with an SDX Index phone system. I have to replace this phone system shortly and I've been trying to get a * system working for some weeks now. I have configured the dial plan (which works)

Rgui front-end has encountered a problem and needs to close
Well I don't know if anyone can help with this but it will be interesting to know if others have had the same problem. I can't start R at home on my laptop [ I'm using 1.8.1 under Windows XP]. When I click on the shortcut I get the usual Windows box for when an application needs to close. A couple of clicks down it displays the following: Error signature AppName: rgui.exe

PRI problems (telewest -> * -> LG GDK 186)
Hi, ? I'm trying to figure out what the issue is splicing Asterisk between our Telewest PRI and a GDK-186 with a PRI card. ? We're using the Digium TE405P ? Our telco provider is Telewest, and Telco directly into switch is fine. ? When I splice Asterisk in, I can make and receive calls from Asterisk extensions, I can make outbound calls from the GDK, but inbound calls do not seem to pass

TE405P E1 coax cables with balun
Hi, I am new with asterisk. I am setting a Wildcard TE405P. E1s in Italy come in on a pair of RG-59 coax cables with BNC connectors. So I need an adapter/balun http://www.allcomtlc.com/al_g703n3.htm . I have It but I am not sure that It works. I have configured my asterisk in this way: zaptel.conf span=1,1,0,ccs,hdb3,crc4 dchan=16 bchan=1-15,17-31 loadzone=it defaultzone=it zapata.conf

Error with 1.9.0 - Invalid HOMEDRIVE
I installed R project 1.9.0 on Windows XP. The installation went well. Then, I rebooted. Next, I clicked the icon under Programs in the Start menu and received this error, "Fatal Error: Invalid HOMEDRIVE". I clicked OK to the error message. The program does not start. I went to a DOS prompt and did "echo %HOMEDRIVE%" and it returned "C:". This letter is a valid
