As I understand it, iterating over an object using for...in or using Hash.each() (or Hash.sortBy()) does not guarantee the order of the properties. I was reviewing the GPFS VFS module this afternoon after I had a request to add Thumbs.db to the hide files option. Now I was under the impression that the GPFS VFS module mapped this through to the Windows attributes on the under lying file system.
