I would be soooooo grateful for any help Thanks Joe -- View this message in context: http://www.nabble.com/Factor-to-continuous-tp23020769p23020769.html Sent from the R help mailing list archive at Nabble.com.

starcraft disappointment.
I've tried everything i can think of and looked and tried a ton of hints on the page for it. http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=149 Under "Starcraft is soooooo sloowwwwww (that's me)" Posted up my log and everything. I tried updates, wine updates, registry changes, switched from opengl to the default, back and forth. There are times starcraft would physically run great with a blank screen, i could hear the navigation go quickly but to no avail...

name resolution: dns name different to windows machinename
...tations machines need to > be in > DNS at all since (unless you have shared folders or printers.) It's certainly easier when a help desk request comes in to ask the user for the machine name label, then try and get the machines IP addy. rdp://acct1 rdp://lab7 rdp://eng21 rdp://admin5 soooooo But yeah, WinXP and up have no problem doing this. dhcp can be a big help as well. > > I general > DISABLE dynamic updates in DNS and don't have DNS assignments/static > IP's > for most XP machines. > > > > -----Original Message----- > From: samba-bounces a...

Changes to manager outputs - A discussion
I am currently writing a prototype agent monitoring system, which (as most others in question) simply monitors the output from the event system, and displays the relevant information. I would hope to donate this back to the community once it works properly :) However, I feel that it would be more useful for the manager output to be tab delimited, one record per line: i.e. instead of Event:

Point is that there is an /etc/rc.foo/bah script in the reference above that''s very Redhat specific. Has any one something similar on a Debian system? ogg-vorbis and ARM
...files, I am guessing the last option is a no-go. However, while the straight compile encoded and decoded ogg files perfectly (at 95 times real-time), the -msoft-float code seems to provide mostly silence with the occasional bit of white-noise (like a short click or couple of short clicks). Soooooo.... The questions are What known floating point incompatabilities exist between ogg-vorbis and varaious fp libraries What code is likely to be easiest (e.g. with little knowledge on my part) to convert to integer only code. Thanks in advance for any help anyone can give me Ian Walters. --- &g...

Java Swing App
I'm rather new to Wine, and I'm trying to run a Java Swing application. I'm having trouble with it. Has anyone else gotten Swing-based apps to run? I have a test case, basically a swing "hello world" app, and I haven't been able to get it to work either. Here's what happens when I try to compile it: [dritch@twitch wine]$ wine -- c:/jdk1.3/bin/javac -g -d

Another * crash
I have an interesting problem now. I use asterisk to connect to both FWD and a sip provider here in sweden. suddenly, (i know my provider upgraded from a unknown SIP proxy to SER) Asterisk crashes when I try to make a call using this provider. FWD still works fine, and I can call directly towards the GW to POTS without any problems. But, as I call using my providers SER, Asterisk crashes.

XMLRPC WebService and Structs
Hi First off, I apologise if this is covered somewhere and I just don''t get it... I''ve looked far and wide .... As a part of my current project I need to hook up to a particular XMLRPC webservice that won''t be available for me to use until close to launch date... So I am trying to recreate the webservice that mirrors the live one so I can test my application
