Hi All,
I'm trying to migrate from an NT4 domain to samba-3...
sorry this is so long...
when I run the "net rpc vampire" I get errors for users and machines
in uppercase or contain uppercase chars.
I'm in a test env before I go live!
I'm on a gentoo distro w/ shadow.
useradd FOO errors, this might be the culprit...
I set up some dummy accts and made them members of

sleepy disk drives
Hi,
I'm having a grief with Seagate FreeAgent Pro drive connected to
CentOS 4 box via USB. The problem is that drive is factory configured
to take a nap (spin down) after some 15-20 minutes of inactivity, and
there doesn't seem to be a way to disable it. Since it's USB
connected, hdparm can't be used on it. Getting the drive out of the
case is not an option either, since it

its most annoying..

Yes. Using my brother's joke, whole life is struggle: before lunch with
hunger, after lunch with sleepiness...

chan_sip.c update to 1.253
Can someone tell me what this setting is supposed to be?
peer->nat = globalnat;
It looks like it's inheriting a parameter, but I'm curious, is globalnat an
option that we're supposed to set(or let default) in sip.conf?

[PATCH server] Starting of new ovirt QMF API.
This is the new ovirt agent that implements the QMF API. This is just
its humble beginnings. The goal was to implement the create VM method on
VMs but it turns out we need to specify the VM pool in order to do that.
This is currently hardcoded to '5' and works locally but would likely not
work elsewhere. What does work well is listing/querying of existing VMs.
There is still lots of

Hi,
Some weird problem (or I'm too sleepy) happens with a tdm04B revision G (4fxo)
Steps:
modprobe zaptel
modprobe wctdm
ztcfg -vv
/etc/zaptel.conf
fxsls=1-4 # TDM04B
defaultzone=us
loadzone=us
/etc/asterisk/zapata.conf
signalling=fxs_ls
group=1
context=incoming
channel => 1-4
modprobe zaptel and wctdm load fine, however ztcfg -vv shows:

It''s a fairly esoteric case, so I probably won''t make another release
until tomorrow (sleepy now, will probably screw something else up
or realize something else is broken :)
Anyways it''s pushed out to master and 1.1.x-stable in case people

Earpiece Connections
Does anyone know of a piece of hardware that can allow multiple earpices
to be connected directly to a server running Asterisk.
I hope I am not being to vague but basically I am looking to allow a
call center to user the server to do all of the "Pickup" and "Hangup"
functions.
The operators will merely have to have th earpiece in their ear. I have
