Hi, I'm no phone guy but I've been having quite a bit of fun messing with Asterisk. I just unwrapped my new Wildcard TDM400P (TDM40B) which is the new 4 port FXS PCI card. It has 4 RJ45 connectors and I'd like to hookup 4 regular phones which are RJ11. If I crip RJ45 connectors to the phone cords do I simple use the center two pins (pins 4 and 5)? Hello Im from Denmark and i've just got my Digium TE405P. But i have some problems when i connect it to my E1 connection (ISDN30). My telco delivered a alcatel box witch have a G.703 120ohm (DB9 with a serial to rj45) and a 75ohm coax connection. I've tried to connect using the 120ohm with rj45 and a ordinary utp cable. ...seen any mention of how people power these phones, as I had planned on centralizing phone power on a UPS to supply my Asterisk server and POE switch. Now the question is: Can the Polycom AC-powered injector be used with a standard ethernet patch cable: switch :: Polycom injector cable :: RJ45 coupler :: patch cable :: Polycom 501 which would allow me to power the Polycom AC adapters by my UPS. ...(uses same cards as Definity). I would take a crack at making a cable but can't determine the pinout for a cable and it is not apparent from the board. Asking you guys makes sense as one of you may have one of these systems. The cable has a amphenol male D50 connector on one end and probably a rj45 on the other. I also don't know if any other devices are needed between the System75 and asterisk The DS1 Tie Trunk card is a TN722B. Any information would be helpful. Hi I have problem with TE121 Digium card. I connected it to modem keymile Music 200 (provided by telco) but I can see 2 red lights on modem (both bellow words rx) and my card is red too. My question for you good people is what sort of hardware do I need to interface Asterix into the Optus Multiline? Hi All... I have installed a single X100P card in my PC and am playing with Asterisk. The wire I plugged into the X100P has two POTS lines on it, wired on the RJ45 in the normal way. I am getting odd behavior. It seems when I dial out that the X100P dials both lines at the same time. I have two questions. First, I see that the X100P is only a single channel. Thers a box we can get here in Australia that has an RJ45 plug, a built in web server that has a config page and URL's to close/open one of 4 included relays.
