stop monitor on transfer
...bosses extension while othe transferd to other people stay on record
mode.
Anybody has done this or know of a way?
I tried with stopmonitor but stopmonitor will stop recording the call
between the receptionist and the boss but once the call is transferred and
since the initial call come thru the recepcionist, the call stays on record.
What do you think guys?

Pickup command
...dial plan. I have setup this rule:
exten => _*8XXX,1,Pickup(${EXTEN:2})
This works as expected when someone dials an extensions number and I
can get the call. The problem I have is that when a call enters my
welcome menu and does not press anything there is a timeout that sends
them to the recepcionist. The rule is:
exten => t,1,Macro(stdexten,${OPERVM},${OPER})
${OPERVM} and ${OPER} are set to the mailbox and sip device of the
receptionist. How can I directly pick up that call? I stopped using
the default *8 because the client kept picking up calls that they did
not intend to so I need...

Asterisk and TDM400P
Hi,
I have a problem with a TDM400P card configuration. Incoming calls are
answered by asterisk, asterisk place the call on the destination
ATA/analog-phone, the phone begins to ring and when our recepcionist pickup
the phone to play a welcome message, she nothing hear on the line during
five or six seconds repeating the message three or four times until someone
appear on the phone. I was playing with Wait application but nothing changes
this issue. On the other hand I disabled callerid from zapata.conf...

RE: Is the 2.6 Linux kernel ready for production * environment
I was wondering what peoples thoughts are about this. It seem that * works
just as well on Linux 2.6 as 2.4. Maybe a few small issues here and there
but generally it seems to me that * is just as stable on either platform.
2.4 is the obvious choice for the highest possiblility of a stable well
tested environment but 2.6 seems to have some enticing benefits.
Can Linux 2.6 be considered a
