bri-stuff.0.1.0-RC2k + hfc card: dropouts on IAX2 & MP3Player quits on streams
Hi there,
I am using bri-stuff.0.1.0-RC2k and it seems that things didn't become
better. I have got lots of dropouts on the IAX2 link (no matter if
jitter buffers are enabled).
Further the MP3Player application does not playback streams like
http://somestreamserver/somestream. It stops saying:

I wouldn't make a fuss about this. sarge is at least as good
as woody and much more up to date for the stuff asterisk can

Zaphfc CallerID problem...
I'm not sure that this problem is strictly related to zaphfc, but this is
what happens:
my asterisk (build on bri-stuff-0.1.0-RC2k) handles a single PCI HFC-S based
card.
I own a Cisco 7940 Sip phone (fw 7.1) and a pc running X-Lite.
Zaptel.conf and zapata.conf are taken directly from zaphfc samples.
Extension.conf contains the following lines:
[from-ISDN1]
exten=>s,1,Wait(1)
exten=>s,2,Dial(Sip/cisco1&Sip/xlite1,30...

2.4.x-SMP vs. 2.6.x-SMP
Hi *,
I want start with a setup of Asterisk with a clean PC.
This PC is a SMP-Machine with two 466MHz CPUs, a Acer ISDN card and a
AVM Fritz! PCI card.
Which Kernel is better for my constellation (Asterisk with SMP, CAPI and
ZAPHFC)?
Kernel 2.6.x or Kernel 2.4.x?

zaphfc in mode TE can't dialout (dialin is OK)
Hello,
I am trying to use a HFC-PCI (CCD/Billion/Asuscom 2BD0) card in TE mode
to dial-in and out with ISDN.
The problem is I can not get the card to dial out with a Zap channel.
Dial-in is working. I am using bri-stuff 0.1.0-RC4 (but tried also RC3
and RC2k). I tried all combination of "immediate", "overlapdial",
"pridialplan". I earlier also managed to dial out with the latest mISDN
and chan_misdn, but it was unstable and linux crashed on any dial-in. So
I think I would rather use zaphfc.
As one can see in the BRI deb...

zaphfc hardware & sound trouble
Hi,
I've been learning asterisk for a couple of weeks now - and it worked for me
as faar as standard configurations where concerned (sip/iax
outbound/isdn4linux & capi with AVM Fritz!, Digium X100P FXO).
Now I recently I'evaluating to use asterisk as a replacemnt for our
companies (15 employees) legacy pbx system and I'm experiencing multiple
problems with the hfc isdn cards:
