Very strange behavior, been banging my head against the wall on this one too. It works fine on CentOS 4.6, the behavior is when the driver loads the bus is not scanned or at least the devices that are exported are not detected. (they are detected in the HBA bios no problem). If I issue the qlogic bus scan command it doesn't get anything back either. If I manually add the devices with "scsi add-single-device" they immediately pop up. I successfully have OCFS running in a two-node RAC environment using RHAS 3 (2.4.21-4.EL) using Qlogic 2310 cards. IO performance, however, was terrible with the combination of OCFS and the Qlogic cards. After extensive testing, OCFS did fine on its own, as did the fibre cards. My CentOS 5.4 box has a single HBA card with 2 ports connected to my Storage. 2 Luns are assigned to my HBA card. Under /dev instead of seeing 4 devices I can see 12 devices from sdb to sdm. Hello Everyone, Whenever purchasing hardware we make it an effort to validate OS, driver and now hypervisor compatibility. Being a low budget company, we really look for the best bang for the bug. Right now that happens to be: x3755 M3 brandishing the AMD SR5690 chipset. We plan on installing a QLogic fiberchannel and a graphics card that support PCI passthrough. Hi, I do seem to have a slight problem with upgrading two of our machines to CentOS (from SuSE, but that doesn't really matter). Both systems are IBM x-Series 360 with a ServeRaid controller for the "internal" hard disks an a QLogic QLA2200 fibre channel controller for an external stack of disks. Hi all, I manage to create a VM (slackware image) and hide the PCI device (qlogic HBA) from Dom0 to DomainU. Now the Dom0 cant see this HBA and the ''xm list -l'' shows this pci device under the DomainU.
