DUNDi Docs
...ne know where I can find some good DUNDi docs? The ones are dundi.org are absolutely horrible. The examples in dundi.conf are pretty much useless. I still can't figure out why Digium can't write some good documentation. It's their 'baby' after all. This really drives me nuts and pisses people off in general. I've been dicking around with DUNDi for over 6 months and still can't figure it out past the most basic application. Doug.

Call List Campaign to an IVR
Hi, I need to make calls to a list of numbers one at a time and once the user pick the phone connects to an IVR where I can get few data, after a call finishes the 2nd number get called and so forth. I'm familiar with Asterisk/Elastix but the Campaign feature on Elastix does not seem to fill this need. I'm now looking GoAutodial & AsterCC. Anyone with an idea to solve this issue I

How to persist file upload fields after a validation error.
Hi all, Is there an easy way to not lose the file field input from the user after a validation error? It pisses people off to have to choose their files again just because some other field didn''t pass a validation. I''ve googled this and just haven''t come up with much of anything. Thanks.

Ideas...
Hello, My company runs several Internet Cafes in Mexico, where bandwith is limited and very costly. We use Linux to do NAT and firewall stuff and at each location we have about 30-40 stations. I''d like to know if anyone out there has any suggestions about how to use CBQ to limit the bandwith at each station. We only have a 128k circuit. The problem I am having is that since I have that

I wanna kill FWD.... GRRR!!!
I'm a bit on the pissed off side right now. If you call Free World Dialup conf bridge.. "514" is the FWD number. Ok last night I was trying to talk to a few people in the conf bridge because they msged me saying they were there. Ok I call it says "Please Hold" then says "All circuits are busy"... Ok fair. I call like 25 times. Well needless to say FWD side

data frame names in sequence
I've been stuck with this problem for a whole afternoon. It's silly but totally pissed me off. I have a set of data frames with names in a sequence: df_1, df_2, df_3, ..., df_20. Now I want to access each data frame (read or write) in a for loop, in a way something like this: for (i in 1:20) { df_i <- ###### length(which(df_i[,7]==1)) ###### } I tried paste or cat

(no subject)
Would you please tell me where to get help. I'm not the ordinary person who will ask for it and bother you just because it isn't convenient to learn from your docs. I CANNOT use Samba because it fails to let me into my Linux server which is running it from my Windows98 network neighborhood icon. It keeps requiring a password. I keep doing what all the docs say to change the password.

dropped calls from queue
We're having a strange problem with our receptionist. She runs an xpro softphone and we're using a queue to handle incoming calls. It seems nearly all of the calls that come in through the queue get dropped. At first we thought it might have been human error (clicking the wrong button in xpro or something) or that the person waiting in the queue just gave up and hungup, however it

Sparc?
My 12 year old wants to learn more about servers and has memorized a lot of commands like ls, chmod, du, etc. He wants to have his own domain and server on the web and I have enough Static IP's, so why not foster this interest. I have an old ultra sparc 5. Are there any CentOS versions that support Sparc? Or recommendations? I know OpenBSD does, but I am more versed in Solaris and versions

Voipbuster/voipstunt -- what a crap service
Hi, all I am reallty pissed with their service. I wonder if this is common problem. Firstly, all of my calls are terminated after 30s. And termination happens in a strange way. My local asterisk server does not see the disconnection, but remote party is disconnected. Basically, I am still on the phone, while remote party was disconnected. When I hang up, I get something like that: Apr 20

Rails 1.1 hosed my Apache!
Just sharing an experience with you all -- hopefully you take better precautions than I do. :-) I have a few sites built with Rails 0.8.3 that were ugpraded to 1.0. The newer sites are on edge rails. So when I heard 1.1 had come out, I unfroze my new apps, and installed the new gem for Rails 1.1. The sites that was operating on edge rails worked just fine. However, the sites that were working

ISOLinux wouldn't boot NT CD-ROM bootsect
Deal all, Hi. I'm a new user of isolinux. And I 'm trying to boot a WinXP installation CD with it. I extracted the bootsect, and place it into the same folder together with isolinux.bin. Here's a section of my isolinux.cfg: ... label winxp kernel xpsect.bin ... The boot splash showed fine. Unfortunately when I tried to boot it, I got the following: ISOLINUX 3.11 2005-09-02

Moaning dog...
Here's one for you phone people.... An elderly lady phoned her telephone company to report that her telephone failed to ring when her friends called - and that on the few occasions when it did ring, her pet dog always moaned right before the phone rang. The telephone repairman proceeded to the scene, curious to see this psychic dog or senile elderly lady. He climbed a nearby telephone pole,

OT: Cellular boosters
We use Motorola v551's as "extensions" on our Asterisk system with a homebrew find me/follow me dialplan. It works great except where coverage is poor then of course the inbound call hits voicemail. This has nothing to do with Asterisk and everything to do with our cellular provider, but since you guys are telephony pros I'd like to ask if anyone has had any good or bad

postfix as default MTA
I noticed when CentOS 6 came out that RHEL had moved to postfix vice sendmail as the default MTA. I had never heard the rationale given, it always sat on the back burner, but I was reminded of the question the other day when I was dealing with a related topic. I don't want to get into a pissing contest about how one MTA is obviously better than the other, nor why others think that I should

Need a CONFIRMED working hardware sata raid10 card
Does anyone know of a card that actually works with CentOS 4 that supports Raid10? I don't think CentOS support software raid 10 from the installer.
