Red Hat commercial support for CentOS/Fedora
Someone told me that if you have a CentOS or Fedora server, you can pay a
Red Hat yearly fee and get them to support it (because the environments are
so similar).
Can anyone here substantiate this claim?

OT: pager pay
Hey folks,
I'm trying to compare my small company's policy against other
companies out there. We pay 10% of your per-hour salary equivalent
per every hour you carry it, whether it goes off or not. So for
example someone making $55K/year works out to about $27 / hour (I
think), so they'd get $2.70 for every hour they carry the pager
outside of regular work hours. We are a company

Xen License
...id that it was illegial for me to rent out Xen VMs...even if they are running Linux (some about terms and conditions).....
Please someone tell me that it was just a misunderstanding. I was under the impression that since Xen is GPL, I''m allowed to rent out Xen Guests to customers without paying anything...
Thanks

Best Asterisk Platform
What is the best asterisk platform to use? What are you guys using?
I am looking for something to host either in our data center or at the
customer prem where I have the control over the unit and not through a
contractor.
I dont mind paying a license fee for a front end interface but still would
rather not have to pay.
Thanks,

Will pay $50 for a MingW build of latest rsync for Win32
I need to distribute rsync (useable for both client and --daemon) on
Win32. Distributing cygwin1.dll is, well you know, a bad idea. I took a
shot at building under MingW but ran into an ugly looking error:
> checking for socklen_t... no

Royalty for On Hold Music ?
Hi,
Is there any Royalty one needs to pay when using the inbuilt exisimg asterisk on hold music or when using any other mp3 from a music album.
I think we need to pay for the later, but I am not sure if we need to pay for the inbuilt asterisk(freepbx) on hold music.

[Cucumber] Level of features / Feature dependent steps
Forgive the long post, just looking for input/advice/alternate
opinions..
Like many I think that going through the exercise of framing user
requests in Cucumber terms(Features, Scenarios..) really helps
facilitate necessary conversations and avoid time wasted implementing
the wrong thing(e.g. as a requirement/specification tool). However,
I''m a bit confused when it comes to

samba/AD expert? for pay?
Howdy.
What's a good way to locate a Samba/Active Directory expert (for pay)?
I just don't have time to read every HOWTO I can find, and the many
hours I've spent trying to apply the scraps of things I've read have
been nearly fruitless.
I will provide a list of goals, and assuming the expert agrees all goals
are achievable, I (my company) would gladly pay for that expert to

OT: good free email service ?
...ills over into the administration side, such as DKIM setup. Then you have everything outside of the protocol such as spam filtering, blacklist/greylist/whitelist maintenance, TLS key updates, OS updates, etc.
Expect to pay for what you use, either by throwing a whole lot of your own time at it or paying someone to spend that time on your behalf. Unless you?re doing this for educational or professional reasons, where the time spent is paid back handsomely, it?s probably a better trade to pay someone to handle it for you.

Code to calculate internal rate of return
Hi all.
I am an R newbie and trying to grasp how the simple optimization routines in
R work. Specifically, I would like some guidance on how to set up a code to
calculate the internal rate of return on an investment project
(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internal_rate_of_return).
My main problem (I think) is that I want a generic code where N (number of
periods) can be easily changed and set

Box Plot Question
I would like to create 15 box plots from two sets of data.
Set1 - containts PayGrade, Min_Salary, Max_Salary data for 15 pay grades
Set2 - contains PayGrade, Actual_Min, Actual_Max, and Actual_Mean for the 15
pay grades
I would like 15 box plots (one for each paygrade) whose whiskers were the
Min_Salary and Max_Salary data
and whose ''box'' was Actual_Min, Actual_Mean,

How to pay for libpri development
...an option, so....we would like
to have libpri changed to compensate for the bug.
Is this a digium only type fix? I've called digium support but they only
offer support for their hardware - they said they can't help with software
fixes (even though we are happy to pay).
I already tried paying the asteriskguru web site guys for tech support, but
after $300 all they have done is confirm there is a software bug on the
meridian. Wow, that was a waste of money....
I don't want to throw too much more money down a black hole. Can someone
suggest where to turn for this?
Thanks,
MD

Current RHEL fragmentation landscape
I subscribe (pay) for a lot of things personally. Music, Movies, Anti

But for my business, I do not want to pay Red Hat, Zimbra, or Google Workspace.
Why ?
Because the general rule seems to be
Oh! You are an individual, we will offer you affordable/free service
What! You are a business, we will offer you extremely 'unaffordable' service.

Will pay for asterisk help...
Hello Guys...
I'm looking for someone to help me out with an Asterisk@home installation...
I've managed to get it working to the point that extensions can talk to each
other, but not incoming calls or outgoing calls...
I need to get it configured with Broadvoice...
I'm willing to pay someone to help me do this...
Contact me at jr@kahari.com if you're interested.
Thanks
