OTR plugin for Pidgin?
Looking for the OTR plugin for Pidgin. We can get libotr from rpmforge, but I can't find the actual OTR plugin anywhere. Can't compile it on centos 5.2 because it wants a bunch of newer libraries than we have (GTK+ and others). Dovecot POP3 problem: Authentication suddenly fails until dovecot gets restarted
Hi, I am running dovecot with postfix and OTRS2 on a fresh Ubuntu 8.10 Server system. OTRS2 is configured to poll new email to otrs-incoming at localhost via POP3 every 5 minutes. It works, but after approximately 20 hours it suddenly stops working and only a restart of dovecot helps. The outage starts at different times during night (00:15 on Thursday, 1:15 on Friday, 3:20 on

How to set selinux policy "allow httpd_t unconfined_t:shm { unix_read unix_write }; " using an seboolean? (How to get a new seboolean?)
Hi. I'm trying to get OTRS running on CentOS 5.5 with SELinux enabled, and audit.log / audit2allow tell me I need to add the local policy: #============= httpd_t ============== allow httpd_t unconfined_t:shm { unix_read unix_write }; which I think will allow the httpd access to read and write from shared memory? Is that right? What are the risks involved in opening this? I notice it is

LTO, ifuncs, and lld
Thanks for providing the patch! I got around to testing it this morning and it appears it fixes compilation, but produces a non-working system. I know that's kinda vague and I'll have more details soon, including sample binaries. I at least wanted to give a status update so you didn't think you were being ignored. [OT] would any of you recommend a ticketing system?
Hi all, sorry for being OT but would any of you recommend a ticketing system? We'd like something pretty comprehensive to cover helpdesk and HR stuff as well as software bugs/requests. There seems to be a million variations out there.

Trouble Ticket System
Hi, Last year, I tried to installed and evaluate the following OSS web base trouble ticketing system. This is for me to track history on our IT related issues. Those that I tried are the PHP Ticket, DanPHPSupport, Epix Power Support, ruQueue, Ticket Express, OTRS, PMOS Help Desk and eTicket. From those, PMOS and eTicket are my top picks. I have problem installing OTRS the last time, so I am

Failed to issue the StartTLS instruction: Connect error
Hi, I have two LDAP Servers with similar configurations. The main difference is that one runs Linux Fedora 1 and the other Linux Fedora 2. The Fedora 2 server runs correctly whilst the Fedora 1 LdAP doesn't with the error: Failed to issue the StartTLS instruction: Connect error. Following is an example of error message on Fedora 1. double-side synchronisation
Help me Tell it is possible to make double-side synchronisation of two servers? So that it passed only on time. For example at an identical set of files on two servers any file on the first to change, i.e. for it time modify will exchange. It means becomes newer and it is necessary to transfer it to other server. And on the contrary, if modification time for any file of the second server it to

LTO, ifuncs, and lld
Hey LLVM folks, I've run into an interesting assertion. In one of HardenedBSD's feature branches, we're working on integration llvm's Cross-DSO CFI implementation. Using Cross-DSO CFI requires building libs with LTO, which causes clang to emit LLVM IR intermediate object files rather than ELF intermediate object files. I've found that with lld, attempting to link LLVM IR

xen hotplug scripts not working
Hello Everyone, I have set up a xen server with 10 physical network devices using the bridge mode of XEN. This is because I want to split and separate the network traffic for security reasons. Maybe the best way is to use pci back hide. But I want to understand what is going on here. For all testings I have only activated eth[0-3]. My first tests were successful. I have created a VM using

Because of lack of other supporting clients and servers I'm now at the point I don't know which side is to blame. The error I get after the client answers the servers challenge is "-ERR

Acceptable version mismatch between syslinux 6.0N's MBR/ldlinux.sys and *.c32?
Hi there, first, thanks a lot for syslinux! I'm aware that one can't mix syslinux 4's MBR + ldlinux.sys with syslinux 6's COM32R modules. Fair enough. Now, I need to know how strong this "versions *must* match" requirement is when dealing with different versions of syslinux 6.x. E.g. * MBR and ldlinux.sys installed by syslinux 6.03-pre1 * all *.c32 modules
