patch for win_utf8_io.c: vsnprintf_s vs. MinGW

I thought Micorsoft had recently stopped supporting WinXP. If Micorsoft has stopped supporting it I see no reason for FLAC to support it. [LLVMdev] how to compile asm output for x86 with Micorsoft's ML
I was recently trying to compile some bitcode generated like so: llc --x86-asm-syntax=intel test.out it generates a test.out.s file, and while I'm not much of an assembly person, it looks OK. When I feed this to ML ml test.out.s I get tons of errors, most of which appear to be syntax errors. Stuff like: test.out.s(2) : error A2008:syntax error : . error A2008:syntax error :

In the meantime, is it possible to get the assembly generated by llc to work wiht ML? That would probably be the ideal solution. Cheers Jim

Did pecoff support means we can linkage llvm generated obj files to msvc's obj files? 2010/1/22, Jim Crafton <jim.crafton at gmail.com>: >> Nope, llvm's .s output is only compatible with GAS and other at&t syntax >> assemblers.  It turns out that MASM syntax is highly ambiguous and MASM is >> not production quality for use by a compiler.  This is why visual

It would be nice to be able to use clang/llvm without GNU toolchain dependencies. Just out of curioisty what does the --x86-asm-syntax=intel actually mean then? Does this not get used? Is this a different syntax than the AT&T variety (forgive me if this is an obvious question)? I tried downloading FASM last night and it seemed handle some of the output, the one thing it didn't like was

Wine 1.3.11 and Micorsoft Money Sunset Edition
I've gotten Microsoft Money Sunset running under wine following the instructions here... http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=21030 Application runs fine for the most part. But I'm having two problems. Money must use some internal web thingy (technical term) and uses it for it's pages. Every time it starts up, I need to open them. I'm thinking that

Re: Wine 1.3.11 and Micorsoft Money Sunset Edition
In order to make it shut down properly you may try the following. In Wine configuration , "Graphics" tab, check "Emulate a virtual desktop". Now all wine porgrams will be opened "inside" or "above" a Windows' blue desktop area. Now when you want to shutdown MS Money, use mouse right-click on the task bar -> "Close", instead of Money window

Re: Wine 1.3.11 and Micorsoft Money Sunset Edition
Hey guys, I got Money Plus Deluxe Sunset working without ever seeing this thread, but these are the same to issues I had to conquer. I posted these on my AppDB test data submission as well, but thought I'd post it here for your convenience (if you're still trying to get it to work, that is). 1st, the dialog box on each page load; Solution: use winetricks ie8 instead of ie6 2nd, the app

Word and samba
Greetings Group I think the Word crashing problem is quite common and does not confine itself to Samba as PDC. Running Word with any file open on a Samba server seems to invite trouble and file trashing. This seems to more of a problem with Win2000 and XP than Win9X and NT. I suspect that Micorsoft have "improved" the code to "optimise" performance for Micorsoft servers... In my particular case we have found that "no oplocks" reduces the rate of file trashing...but am not sure if this totally fixes the problem yet. A very worrying syndrome for us Linux adminz...

Reverse zones fail with secure updates
Hai James, So a windows xp works but Win7/10 not, at least is good hint. So, i did have a look in my setup again. And i'm thinking, i have disabled ipv6 for my windows 7 and win 10 pc's. That may be an option.. A thing you can try, have a look here : http://www.bvanleeuwen.nl/faq/?p=1142 ipv6 Admx to simple disable ipv6. I've set : Disable all IPv6 components. I also

Friendly Reminder: Would you please comment on my findings?
...pe that - well relaxed and burning for action ;-) - you will be able to find some time soon to look into my findings so far, because IMHO the results are interesting and - while they have uncovered that the performance regression most likely is not directly a Samba issue, but rather an issue in Micorsoft's SMB2/3 client - I still hope that you and the Samba team will be able to address this issue with Microsoft (much better than I would be able to as an individual without your background/backing) such that the whole SMB communitiy will take profit from properly addressing/fixing it... ;-)...

rxml vs rhtml
I have been wondering if anyone here knows which format is faster for your templates? I am curious cause in the near future I may be using some expensive scripts (timewise) and would like to try and squeak out as much performance as possible. Is Ruby like other languages (ASP classic for example) that inccur a penalty by switching between HTML and Ruby Code? Ben -- Posted via
