Xen 4.0 on gentoo hotplug scripts problem?
Hi, Ive just tried Xen 4.0 on Gentoo with 2.6.32 (also tried 2.6.31) forward ported dom0 kernel, Xen itself seems to boot up successfully and everything else on the system is working normally, but when I try to start a domain xm create appears to hang and eventually I get a hotplug scripts error: Error: Device 2049 (vbd) could not be connected. /etc/xen/scripts/block failed; error detected.

Windows 7 safe mode with networking on Xen 3.4.2?
I have just attempted to boot a windows 7 vm in safe mode with networking on Xen 3.4.2 and found that it reboots a few seconds after the logon screen appears, perhaps somebody else on the list could test this and confirm that they see the same issue? The last few lines of the qemu-dm log show the following: gpe_en_write: addr=0x1f6c, val=0x8. gpe_en_write: addr=0x1f6d, val=0x0. gpe_en_write:

OpenSolaris 2009.06 in stub (hvm) domain at Xen 3.4.1 Dom0 with 2.6.30 vs 2.6.29.4 xenified kernel
Andy, OSOL 2009.06 been installed in stub domain (hvm domain) at mentioned Dom0 with 2.6.30 xenified kernel via xen-patches-2.6.30-2.tar.bz2 refuse to activate PV drivers. When same Dom0 starts with 2.6.29.4 xenified kernel (xen-patches-2.6.29-6.tar.bz2) kernel OSOL 2009.06 in stub (hvm) domain does activate PV drivers for xdf, xnf . Boris

rebased openSUSE dom0 xen patches for 2.6.31
Hi, I have uploaded a new set of rebased openSUSE dom0 xen patches and Gentoo ebuild for 2.6.31 to http://code.google.com/p/gentoo-xen-kernel/downloads/list, Jan Beulich recently identified the cause of the null pointer crash and other stability problems that affected previous versions and with the necessary fixes applied the kernel has run for 2+ days with no issues at all, I think you will find

[LLVMdev] [Compiler-rt] -march=aarch64 flag in gcc/clang
Hi Renato, Are you sure? Armv8-a is aarch32, not aarch64. Something smells fishy there. Windows / RODBC / Accented characters
A disturbing behaviour of R: an import of data using RODBC library (Windows 98, R 1.1.1) recognizes accented characters in variables names but these can't be manipulated further. NMI on domU shutdown with PCI passthrough, Lyon''s 2.6.31-4 dom0, xen 3.5
I started a new thread because this not a pv-ops dom0 anymore. I''m running Andrew Lyon''s 2.6.31-4 patches for a non-pv-ops kernel. Got it again, after issuing "poweroff" from the domU. I am trying to restart on R after 2 months stop. Start with previously functioning procedure: "ch<-odbcConnect("dBase Files")" get "Warning message: ODBC connection failed in: odbcConnect("dBase Files") " I have tried unsuccessfully different working directories. The only change I see is that I am working with a new login account on the same machine.

Multiv / hierclust / plclust
I use hierclust (hierarchical clustering) in multiv package. In the documentation it is said that plclust (plotting a dendrogram) is available in S-plus. Can I find it anywhere (I have searched through http://lib.stat.cmu.edu/S and found only quotations of plclust in multiv) or is it only part of the S package (which I don't have)? Thanks --------------- Charles RAUX, Laboratoire

Hi, folks, Well, still more fun (for values of fun approaching zero): 1. Went to install CUDA 9.0... well, gee, there is *no* CUDA 9.0. Even though I installed the 9 repo, all that I get is 8. I've used their webform, and an waiting on a reply. 2. I remove all nvidia packages. 3. It appears that the kmod-nvidia is what I need; that's what nvidia-detect

rsycnc copies all files
Hi I am making an extraordinary claim: rysnc seems to copy all my files, not just ones that have changed or new files. rsync version 2.6.0 protocol version 27 Debian 3.0 Woody I have tested this with one simple file, my example is shown below. Does anyone have any suggestions to rectify this? Regards Gareth example: I create a file called 'testfile' in /tmp/play containing the

[LLVMdev] A new project proposal for LLVM and calling help from a chinese student
Mingxing, Your project sounds interesting and if it significantly improves over the live variable analysis that is in LLVM right now, I think it could be a useful contribution. I'm copying the 'llvmdev at cs.uiuc.edu' mailing list, which you should join. Send all related messages to this list to get feedback on your goals and also to get help with any problems you face.
