I am having trouble starting uspd whenever I add a client from my lan to
uspd.conf:

Can't connect to UPS [mustek] (megatec-mustek): No such file or directory
NUT recently stopped working on my debian. I'm not sure which upgrade
broke it.

Slaves under Squeeze

or so. No problems.
Now I'm trying to hang another machine off the same ups as a slave,
and it isn't working. The problem I'm getting is best illustrated by
what happens when I run this on the server:
upsd -DDDDDDDDD

Why was it necessary to move conf_load()? In this case,
chdir(statepath) should be moved before it. But the problem is that
become_user() has to be before chdir (to check permission), and
chroot_start() has to be before become_user(), and this might perhaps
mess up listen_add() (does listen_add() require root access)?
This looks like a catch-22 to me, but I don't understand the code as
well as you do. Is there some sequence of events that will work?
Moreover, conf_load() is now called before the chroot() and
become_user(), which means that ups.conf is read by root...

Server 2012 - 64bit NTPD Crash

I?m trying to get NUT working on Server 2012 64-bit.
I can start the ntpd but as soon as I connect with upsc, the NTPD process
exits with the following debug output:

Getting 'Data stale' error with bcmxcp_usb for a PowerWare 5115 on OSX
Good evening,
I tried getting this to work a couple years back but didn't have
enough time to do all the debugging that was needed (apologies
to the devs who tried to help at that time). It's working much
better now, but I'm still not able to get an answer from upsc.
