categorized complete list of R commands?
every time I read the R release notes for the next release, I see many functions that I had forgotten about and many functions that I never knew existed to begin with. (who knew there were bibtex facilities in R? obviously, everyone except me.) I wonder whether there is a complete list of all R commands (incl the standard packages) somewhere, preferably each with its one-liner AND categorization(s). the one-liner can be generated from t...

[LLVMdev] [RFC] LCSSA vs. SSAUpdater ... FIGHT!
...ion utilities built on SSAUpdater to form SSA on demand when needed. >> >> (Note, there are plenty of places where SSAUpdater makes sense, so this isn't really about doing away with it at all.) > > It’s worth noting that LCSSA predates SSAUpdater. If I went back in time and knew what I knew now, I wouldn’t have gone with LCSSA. > > My gripes are three fold: 1) SSAUpdater can handle anything that LCSSA simplifies, 2) that LCSSA is annoying to keep up to date, 3) LCSSA burns compile time optimistically rewriting loop values, which are then later collapsed away even if...

(no subject)
Hi I''m currently setting up a game server and have opened all ports needed to run it. What other options do I have regarding protecting the open ports? I''m worried about people attacking the open ports to render the server useless. Any help or advice would be appreciated. Thank you. Recoil UK

Belgian Ruby on Rails Site
Hello, I recently started http://www.onrails.be Onrails.be is a Belgian Ruby on Rails site (in Dutch). At the moment however, the site is powered by Textpattern (PHP CMS). I already knew that, and I''m just getting to know Rails myself. If some Dutch people visit this forum: //message is written in Dutch from this point -> Wat vinden jullie ervan? Is de content goed? Zijn de artikelen over de installatie te uitgebreid, te eenvoudig, te saai? Zijn de nieuwsbericht...

wxListBox.rbw
This patch fixes a bug in the third list box (Who knew there were three?) that does a prefix match as you type (who knew that''s what it meant?). I changed the label to be a little more explanatory. We should really make the sample window bigger and/or put a scrollbar on there. Roy _______________________________________________ wxruby-...

Question about Wine and windows compatibility
...program that will let me run programs designed for earlier windows (95/98) on Vista 64 bit (specifically Lords of Magic, an old PC game - the patches that make the game playable will not install on a 64 bit Vista OS). I know this is a cross platform sort of program, and was wondering if any of you knew if it would work. Thanks for any help or insight.
