...f the day samba runs fine. We _THINK_ we've narrowed down the times when the smbd processes go crazy to a time when we're updating the smb.conf file. Does this sound reasonable? Is there a better way to create the neccessary shares? New one on me: How to UN-transfer
I'm using a Snom 320 in a CAP position and the receptionist wants to do blind transfers. OK, no problem so far. Now she has asked me how to UN-transfer a call, as in, she transfers a call and wants to hook the call back before it connects (she wanted to tell the caller additional information for example) I don't think that this is possible as once my dialplan starts using Dial()

...nd put load avg. on the server to over 300. This only lasts for a couple of minutes and then goes away. The smbd process count is normally around 400-600 all day. So Its not like an all of a sudden excessive load. ...ssed above. I imagine that if the file is moved on the same filesystem, the file attributes don't change at all, its only when the file has to be created, and that's why a "copy" works.
