Re: [Nemo-devel] nuts status page
Adam: Thanks for putting up this page. But something is wrong. In particular, our Powerware 9135 is a three phase UPS system with THREE 480 volt outputs. So the displayed voltage is not correct -- in fact there should really be THREE voltages displayed, all around 480v. Nut developers: I am copying the NUT mailing list to see if anyone can suggest how to fix this. NUT developers, see the

snmp ups Status: Not supported
Hi I set up my ups with driver snmp-ups, and it get recognized as a AEC T2003. In the nut-cgi upstats page input/output/load are displayed corectly, but the Status field is marked as "Not supported". Is "Status" important to initiate shutdown in case of low battery ? Will my server shut down correctly ? thanks Massimo I include "upsc snmp@localhost" output:

HP/Compaq Rackmount UPS Support?
Hi, I have an HP R5500XR and a Compaq R3000XR that I would like to use with nut. I searched the compatibility lists and the mail list archives but couldn't find anything. They both have 9 pin serial ports. Can anyone give me any information about them, and if they are supported by nut? Thanks, Denny Fox

CPS GS 1500U
Hello all, Has anyone had any luck getting a CPS GS 1500U working with NUT via USB. Its branded Geek Squad (don't ask) but it shows up in the USB device list as the CPS 1500U. I'm running Kubuntu Dapper with all current updates installed, Kernel 2.6.15-26-686, NUT 2.0.3. I've tried hidups and newhidups. With hidups I used port=/dev/bus/usb/001/004 which I'm sure is the UPS

gcc4 compiler warnings
Hi all! The following files emits warnings when compiled with gcc 4.0: al175.c bcmxcp_ser.c belkinunv.c cyberpower.c everups.c powercom.c solis.c All warnings seem to be of this variety: everups.c:38: warning: pointer targets in passing argument 2 of 'ser_get_char' differ in signedness I suggest that those who fiddles with those drivers fixes the warnings and verifies that it works

Connectiion to UPS via SNMP
Hi NUT-Users, we work with a GE LP 33 UPS and an Advanced SNMP WEB Interface Card. This card supports the RFC1628 Definition. So I think this combination work together with NUT and the snmp-driver, correct? I installed the networkupstools on my Debian Sarge with apt-get (nut & nut-snmp). After configuration I start the upsd and upsmon. I get following output in /var/log/syslog: ... Aug 3

help w/ Powerware Prestige 9
Hi, I've got a Powerware Prestige 9 1kVA UPS that seems to not be working with nut. It's not in the current "supported hardware" list, but the old bcmxcp page lists it as being a UPS that speaks that protocol. I have the following in my ups.conf [powerware] driver = bcmxcp port = /dev/ttyS0 desc = "Powerware Prestige 9 EXT" baud_rate = 2400 And when I start the

HP R3000 XR, warning or perhaps error
Hi, So far I've gleaned heaps of useful info from the list and got mostly running with NUT. There was a thread by Paul Battaglia and Kjell Claesson about the R3000 which has helped me get so far, but now with the patched driver I still have this on startup: # /usr/local/ups/bin/upsdrvctl start Network UPS Tools - UPS driver controller 2.0.5 Network UPS Tools - BCMXCP UPS driver 0.11
