Hi, I have created an addition to the regex plugin that allows case insensitive matching for title/class/name/role. To enable the case insentive matching, I chose to prepend an 'i' before the tag (ititle=, iclass=, ...). The patch is obviously attached ;-) Are there any objections against putting this code in? ...today I tried hooking up this new CyberPower 685 unit via newhidups--since it seemed better supported over USB than serial, based on reading the list archives and cvs logs. Unfortunately, I can't connect to it. My system sees the device: uhid1: CPS UPS BF700, rev 1.10/0.01, addr 2, iclass 3/0 ... and I have chmodded all the USB stuff in /dev to 777, just to make things easier at first. Hi. I'm from Russia. I try to use NUT with PowerWalker vi 400 se (usb). I use FreeBSD 7.0 (amd64) and megatec_usb driver. Settingup the NUT with FreeBSD installation procedure (Thierry Thomas, from FreeBSD). PowerWalker connect to the computer by usb cable on port usb0 (uhib0). This version of the patch includes feedback from jboggs at redhat.com, including fixes to the BuildRequires and Requires in the spec file.

This patch obsoletes any previous ones. This is an upstream candidate, so I'm looking for feedback so we can push this and start using it.

This version fixes a few bugs found by jboggs. It also includes some logging facilities that need to be fleshed out more.

Could people who are experiencing boot-time hangs in 4.9-PRERELEASE try the following patch to see if it helps? I've had one positive report so far, but it would be helpful to get more feedback to determine if this is the right fix to be committed.
