Recommended Groupware?
Hi, is there a recommended groupware (email + calendar + address book + syncing with mobile devices) on top of an existing dovecot installation? Most existing commercially supported groupwares come with their own mail storage engine. I would like to keep dovecot as the email storage engine because of the maildir format which greatly...

samba groupware integration
Hi, I'd like to install a groupware server in our institute and looking for a software, which connects samba and the groupware server, for example for authentication (may be LDAP) and (more importent) to see the samba shares (user and groups) in the groupware web-front-end. I've talked this week to the open-xchange people at CeBi...

Is there any way I can deploy cPanel web hosting control panel with Microsoft Exchange 2016 groupware behind one static public IP?
Good evening from Singapore, Is there any way I can deploy cPanel web hosting control panel with Microsoft Exchange 2016 groupware behind one static public IP? Or do I need 2 static public IP addresses at the minimum? With Exchange 2016 groupware taking up HTTP, HTTPS, IMAP, IMAPS, POP3, POP3S, SMTP, and SMTP/S ports, I personally don't think I can deploy cPanel behind the same public IP as Exchange. Please advise. Perha...

CentOS friendly groupware
Just wondering what the consensus is around the list for a usable groupware product. It doesn't have to be as "fancy" as the integration between Outlook and Exchange...just simple calendaring, ToDo lists, document sharing, contact manager, etc. Has anyone tried opengroupware? It seems to do what I need, but doesn't support Chinese (which would make...

You can use bind your cPanel web server to a different port or (better) you can put your services behind a reverse proxy/load balancer. In this scenario, for web servers running on the standard ports (ie TCP 80 and 443), you can use HTTP host headers/SNI to redirect re...

Dovecot and kmail IMAP resources
...or some time now I have been trying to get IMAP resources working on KMail. I have followed the docs from kde, but they tell how to configure cyrus IMAP, so I've had to learn as I went along. After a lot of help from the postfix list I now have a working sasl. The ability of the user 'groupware' to log in with PLAIN has been checked in a telnet session. Everything in KMail has been set up as in the documentation, but it doesn't work. Now I'm wondering if anything in my dovecot configuration needs changing. dovecot -n # /etc/dovecot.conf base_dir: /var/run/dovecot/ log_p...

looking for alternative to SME & Clark Connect
Hi all, I'm looking for a (preferably free) alternative to SME / Clark Connect. I basically need the following: - firewall - nat - VPN - bandwidth limiting / monitoring - email (SMTP / POP3 / IMAP) & groupware - file & printer sharing - RAID support - if possible fail-over / high availability support. I need to support about 15 - 30 (some part time) students, so I would like to keep the costs low. If it's free, so much better. SME works for most of the stuff, but it still runs on CentOS 4, and I...
