Authentication problem between RH 7.3 Samba and W98
...een a new linux box running RedhHat 7.3 and a W98 PC, and almost have things running but have run into a problem that is beyond my ability. I have W98 set up for PlainText password, and have set up Samba to match. Everything seems fine on the linux box. How to show progress
I''m looking for ideas on how you would implement a controller/view in Rails that needs to show the progress of a possibly 2-3 minute operation. For example the user wants to generate 100 reports that will take about 3 minutes. I would like to have a page that would indicate that the operation is taking place as well as showing progress as to how far along. With basic CGI you could

Bandwidth Limiting using HTB?
...address that I wanted to limit. I have tried this and it seems to work. This seems okay for a few ips, but seems excessive for 100+ addresses. Especially if you wanted to add some interactive traffic shaping. Is this how it''s done or is there a better approach? How are bricks healed in Debian Jessie 3.11

My Linux OS Is Debian Etch(4.0) With a fully capable processor(Games of such category run perfectly on Windows).
