Turning off DNIS on T1 set to FXO_LS protocol
Hello everyone, Our company has an Asterisk server where one of the T1s is connected to an IVR. Asterisk is configured for FXO Loopstart, and the IVR is configured FXS. We can call into it, but our software doesn't expect DNIS digits on FXS, and the digits are being interpreted as user input. We can certainly change our software accordingly, but our test bed also includes other

(Analog Intercom) PagePal by ATT -- was hooked to a Merlin
I'm replacing a Merlin for a client and they have a PagePal Intercom that I would like to reuse. Here is what I know about it: It has a screw-down wires that goto rj-11 (This was told to me over the phone) that went into one of the Merlin ports. I tried bring it up with fxo_ks and fxo_ls (assuming it was analog and autoanswered) but no luck. I would be happy to replace if anyone knows of an analog phone to page system, but of course I would like to reuse what is there. Thanks for any advice or pointers, Jeb Campbell jebc@c4solutions.net

Callerid with DAHDI
...roup=0 echocancel=yes signalling = fxs_ks channel => 4 - --------------------------------------------------------------------- I was comparing this configuration with which I have in my house with a OpenVox card, where callerid works, and the unique difference that I found is that I'm using fxo_ls. Can be it the cause of the problem? Thanks in advance for your replies. Which is the best signalling for FXS
...nteface on a TDM400 to a standard telephone. I see that all examples use fxo_ks, but it is my understanding that kewl start is really designed for connections to the CO so that hangup etc. can be detected. So does it make any sense to configure a telephone for fxo_ks? Or should it be configured for fxo_ls? Regards Garry Taylor
