TDM400P (TDM20B) 'Freshmaker failed register test'
No matter what I do, I've tried now three different motherboards, my TDM400P keeps giving 'Freshmaker failed register test' after emitting a list of xx != 00 errors. Anyone have any clues for me? I'm wondering if I got a bad module or what. TIA -- Undocumented Features quote of the moment... "It's not the one bullet with your name on it that you have to worry about;

problems with TDM400P
Hi, We have two of these 4 port FXO cards. However, we are having some problems with incoming/outgoing calls. The latest version of Asterisk/zaptel from CVS is being used. Voicemail, internal SIP <-> SIP calls between Pingtel xpressa hard phones work terrific, echotest is fine, and so on. The zaptel and wcfxs modules load fine, and show all 8 FXO interfaces in dmesg:

Bad FXS Module?
I apparently have a dead FXS module. Is there any kind of test I can run on it (on a live system) to determine if its good or bad? The telephone has no dialtone, gets no calls. It has been working for several months, and just quit yesterday. Thanks! TDM400P problems with 1 FXS, 1 FXO
Hi- I'm totally stumped configuring my TDM400P with one FXS and one FXO module. Before I got the FXO module, I used to have an X101P, and everything was working very well. Now * doesn't seem to recognize the FXO channel. I've searched the wiki and the list archives. Stock Debian 3.0 stable installation. Any advice? Thanks. -- David Here's my configuration: modprobe zaptel

Unable to load module chan_zap.so
I am having trouble with chan_zap.so not loading. When I load it from modules.conf, Asterisk bails out without any error message. When I load it from the console, it just says "Unable to load module chan_zap.so" no matter what verbose level I am using. dmesg says: Zaptel Version: 1.4.4 Zaptel Echo Canceller: MG2 Freshmaker version: 73 Freshmaker passed register test Module 0:

Zaptel modules load, but Asterisk fails at startup
I'm running Asterisk on a Gentoo box with the Zaptel 1.2.1 drivers. If I boot the machine without having the wcfxs module autoload, then install the module with modprobe, asterisk works just fine. If I boot the machine and autoload the wcfxs module, the module loads fine: > Jan 11 11:06:55 asterisk Zapata Telephony Interface Registered on major 196 > Jan 11 11:06:55 asterisk ACPI: PCI

NMI issues...
I have read thru what other users have tried in this list when they have experienced seemingly similar issues to what I have, without success. I suspect there might be an issue regarding both the X100P and TDM04b cards being used in an Intel SE7525GP2 motherboard, as I had to even wait for a BIOS update from Intel in order to utilize my 3ware 9500 SATA raid controller on it (3ware Kb -->

Non-working module on TDM400P?
Hi all, I was wondering if anyone had any pointers on how to determine whether or not a module has gone wonky on the TDM400P? I have a 2 FXO (channels 3 and 4) and 2 FXS unit (channels 1 and 2). The bad (?) module in question is the FXO module on channel 3. I can't dial in to or out of that channel; dialing in gives a busy signal, dialing out just shows * hanging around after attempting a
