WiFi IP Phones
Guys. I know there are wifi sip phones out there but I have a question, are any of these phones "anti explosive"? By that I mean, there are certain regulations about phones or cel phones that are not recommended to operate in environments like gas stations due to sparks and the chance of ingiting gas fumes. Are there any wifi sip phones out here that have complaince with regulations to operate in hazar...

[LLVMdev] Overloaded intrinsics: name explosion
Philip Reames wrote: >> 1. Introduce aAny. > > Having a generic any type seems fine. I assume you'd create something like > an llvm_any_type in Intrinsics.td? That's precisely what ifavpAny is about: integer, float, array, vector, pointer Any. aAny is meant for array-Any, and I wonder why so few people care about arrays. I'll go ahead with Any and llvm_any_type.

Debian samba 2.2.3-12.3 explosive memory growth
Does anyone have any ideas what might cause samba (specifically, a single smbd process) to grow by several hundred K to as much as 2-4 megs every single time a directory is listed and occasionally when a file accessed by a Windows 2000 client? Eventually the process becomes so large that linux kills it, disrupting processes that are trying to access data at the time. This behavior started

[LLVMdev] Overloaded intrinsics: name explosion
Hi, So, we currently have gc.result.int, gc.result.float. gc.result.ptr, gc.relocate, and gc.statepoint. gc.statepoint's signature is fine with a iPTRAny as the first argument. gc.result is in trouble, because none of the signatures admit even a simple array of integers, and there's no aAny. And certainly no vectors. So we can get a gc.result.vector to add to this mess, and admit [1] to

Echo cancellation Question?
Hi, I use speex 1.1.12 in my program, but I found a strange thing about Echo canceller. That is, I'll hear an explosion in a certain frequency inputing. And I use the echo canceller in 44100Hz sample rate, disable AGC and Denoise. Can you tell me what's wrong with me? -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:

simulating a few thousand SIP clients?
hi i'm setting up a rig to handle quite a few SIP clients, so i need a way to simulate, say, 20k SIP ATAs. Does anyone know how? This should of course be as close as possible to 'reality', meaning n% calls per client and the usual REGISTER/OPTION traffic. thanks Best regards Roy Sigurd Karlsbakk roy@karlsbakk.net --- In space, loud sounds, like explosions, are even louder

Is it just me, or is Ruby exploding?
...ht now. Almost enough that I could quit the day job and make a go of it, forgetting about Java altogether. Places in the greater Miami area are turning on to Rails and Ruby -- much of it fueled by the stronger voices in the local Java community. Am I alone in this, or do many of you see absolutely explosive growth in Ruby, Rails and all things Web 2.0ish right now? I see that Bruce Eckel is coming around. When he wrote his article bashing Ruby a few weeks ago, I knew he was on the verge of being hooked. First you hate her, then you glance at her, then you are in her arms. Ruby, that goddamn seductres...

Specification Reuse to avoid Combinatorial Explosions
Hello, While reading Dan North''s BDD tutorial <http://dannorth.net/introducing-bdd>, I tried to implement his ATM example as spec stubs. When I first implemented it creating a context for each of his scenarios, I noticed that there is duplication and a combinatorial explosion of the specs. I attached the full files to this email. For brevity, I will use scenario 1 in the body of

Spaced text (from Digest)
On the suggestion for double-spaces, I share the general 'oh no'. I see an explosion of people with iPads etc trying out Markdown in education because formatting sucks on iPads. They struggle with needing new lines (see recent post for an example). In short, they struggle with white-space (invisible) mark-up. Added to that, frequently cut and paste leaves double spaces (eg in BBEdit

Help. dll not found
I am trying to get a program, Nova Development Photo Explosion, running under Wine for my wife. I was unable to install the program from CD under Wine. I could see the installer pop-up begin, then I'd get a black screen. ESC would exit Wine and dump me back to my terminal. There were no terminal messages. I installed the program in Windows, then moved the program folder and all registry

Lowering Logging Sensitivity
Is there a way to reduce logging when in production? I''m not terribly interested in the items that return status 200. I would like to limit the production logs to simply application errors and "explosions".

many to many link table compound primary key explosion
Hi, I have a many-to-many relationship between two tables, questions and answers. My MySQL schema for the link table creates a primary key from the two fields to prevent duplicate records. When I add the same answer to the same question more than once, rails attempts to create a duplicate record and explodes with a MySQL error: MysqlError: Duplicate entry ''3-3'' for key 1:
