Tie line is type em_w (old school stuff) to TE110P. Phone rings on the asterisk side, but the calling party does not hear the ring through sound. If I pick it up within the first two rings it goes through and I can talk otherwise our old switch drops the call. Anyhow...here is my config if anyone can shed some light...

Hello, I am installing asterisk, libpri and zaptel. I have it setup for EM wink. incoming calls are working. outgoing calls are not. zttool shows TxA as 11000000 RxA shows 00000000 This doesnt seem like em_w signalling? Seems like the PBX is not setup for EM_w. Is that the case? Jerry

I've tried various signalling types in zaptel.conf and zapata.conf (pri_cpe, pri_net, em_w), but to no avail. Also unfortunately, I'm rather newbish to asterisk as well as telco on the whole. I am connecting 1.4.22 and dahdi 2.1.0.3+2.1.0.2 to a siemens hipath 300 and siemens hipath 4000. (2 channels to each switch) with a TE210p card setup as T1 with em_w. When the call is initiated to either switch the phone rings, when its answered then nothing... I hear no audio etc... After the timeout period the call is hung up. The phone switch 300 needs the T1 reset as the channel is not freed up. Anyone ever ran into this? What might be going on? Its inst...

...risk deployed in my office with a TE411P. On the first port of this card is a T1 from the telco setup for D4 AMI. Unfortunately, I'm not receiving caller ID on inbound calls from this line. The caller ID information is arriving in the form *ANI*DNIS*. In zapata.conf, I have signalling set to em_w. The DNIS always arrives correctly, but I'm never receiving the ANI for caller ID. I'm starting to wonder if this is an issue with my T1, but before I go down that road, has anyone used this kind of signalling before?
