During zpool import I am getting a non-zero exit code,

Shared Nested Resources
The skinny is that I''m attempting to add "Discussions" as resources under different resources ("Groups", "Projects", for example) and I''ve simply hit a roadblock (or two). Discussions are an association between the "discussable" (Group, Project, etc.) and a "Topic" so: class Discussion < ActiveRecord::Base belongs_to :topic

b75 zone ip-exclusive problem
got a problem with b75 that the zone with ip-exclusive just takes the identity of the global zone. For the primary nic there is no option to set its ip and hostname. When i change the host name and ip the hostname does not change and the networking goes weird for both the zone and global zone. sparc eri qfe There any bugs about or should this work fine? While I empathize with your predicament, I generally prefer not to have expletives in my inbox. Also, what has this to do with markdown? SLES kernel update
Hello CFS, I was wondering if the new SLES10 kernel will be part of the 1.6.4 release. It appears to be tracked by: https://bugzilla.lustre.org/show_bug.cgi?id=13874 As this contains a major security fix (privilege escalation), it is a mandatory upgrade in many places and it would be nice to not have to roll our own kernel. Thanks, Kit

attribute blocks for definition lists
Hello, As I am using markdown to write documentation, I am often tempted to make links to terms in definition lists. Since this is not possible for now (at least in php markdown extra), I was wondering if this could be a common addition in major implementation supporting definition lists. the syntax would be term {#id} : definition This syntax tries to follows current convention and

Suggestion to Stop Cross Posting Discussions
+1 to do something, whether that something is to mail only on llvm-dev, or to move those discussions to a 'community' or 'cross-project' list of some sort. I -am- subscribed to cfe-def and llvm-dev, and as a result, I get most of these messages twice. I also have mail rules to put cfe-dev email in one folder and llvm-dev email in another folder. When both mailing lists are

System started crashing hard after zpool reconfigure and OI upgrade
I have two identical Supermicro boxes with 32GB ram. Hardware details at the end of the message. They were running OI 151.a.5 for months. The zpool configuration was one storage zpool with 3 vdevs of 8 disks in RAIDZ2. The OI installation is absolutely clean. Just next-next-next until done. All I do is configure the network after install. I don''t install or enable any other services.

C''mon ARC, stay small...
Running an mmap-intensive workload on ZFS on a X4500, Solaris 10 11/06 (update 3). All file IO is mmap(file), read memory segment, unmap, close. Tweaked the arc size down via mdb to 1GB. I used that value because c_min was also 1GB, and I was not sure if c_max could be larger than c_min....Anyway, I set c_max to 1GB. After a workload run....: > arc::print -tad { . . . ffffffffc02e29e8

ZFS core contributor nominations
The time has come to review the current Contributor and Core contributor grants for ZFS. Since all of the ZFS core contributors grants are set to expire on 02-24-2009 we need to renew the members that are still contributing at core contributor levels. We should also add some new members to both Contributor and Core contributor levels. First the current list of Core contributors: Bill

FYI: Landing the initial draft for an LLVM Code of Conduct
Hello folks, As mentioned some time ago[1], we’ve had a long (looooooong) series of discussions about establishing a code-of-conduct for the LLVM project as a whole over on the llvm-dev thread and the http://reviews.llvm.org/D13741 code review. The discussion has largely died down for some time, and towards the end there has been pretty wide support for the draft wording we have now. It isn’t
