Hi All, I have bfu''ed to net-virt_xb-21_snv_81_021308. The dladm command on my machine does not have create-etherstub option. Please let me know what could be the issue. Thanks Khushal

create-etherstub [-t] [-R <root-dir>] <etherstub-id>
delete-etherstub [-t] [-R <root-dir>] <etherstub-id>
show-etherstub [-t] [-R <root-dir>] [<etherstub-id>]
Make sure you''re running the version of dladm which was installed with
the bfu archive, and not a private copy from a previous release.
Also I''d recommend bfu''ing our latest bits, see

Thanks Nicolas, that helped. Now I am facing a new issue. #/sbin/dladm create-etherstub 1 /sbin/dladm : VNIC creation failed : operation failed I am not able create VNIC either. I have a Marvell yukon card on my laptop and the driver is myk. Any suggestions ? myk could be a non-gldv3 NIC. Run ''dladm show-link'' and see what the link type is. Sorry guys for send multiple emails, but wanted to give an update. Venugopal Iyer helped me out, as he is in the same building as I am. The vnic was not getting loaded, he made changes to name_to_major and minor_perm. After that I was able to create etherstub. However Vnics were not getting created. I have a marvell yukon nic card and the driver is myk0. It is a non-gldv3 driver and Venu says thats an issue. Was just wondering if any of you guys know a gldv3 driver for marvell yukon nic ?
