...en a session and refer to everything afterward via the @session variable stored after open_session. it seems to be workable, but is far from ideal: dir = File.dirname(__FILE__) require ''rubygems'' require ''spec/story'' require "#{dir}/helper" steps_for(:dealer_login) do Given("I have opened a session") do @session = open_session end Given("I am not logged in") do @session.instance_variable_get("@session").should == nil end Given("I have a valid login/password combo") do @logi...

Using a Cisco 7960G
Is anyone using the subject phone without the proprietary call setup equipment? How do you configure this phone to use the * pbx? I am hoping to go out and buy a couple of phones but the dealer here says I need to spend another $15K or so for the call manager equipment. This is NUTS!!
...PF server. I configured the TFTP server on my RHES 3 box, now to get the required CISCO files. So I contacted CISCO to purchase the required maintenance contract so as to gain access to the download area for the files/images. -WHAT A FRUSTRATION!!- CISCO says, "Purchase it from your reseller/dealer." OK. So I call my reseller/dealer and he is having the most difficult time getting this $8.00 product, CON-SNT-CP7960, for me. It is just not worth the time and effort for him. So here I am, a week later, and no CP7960. It looks pretty though!! Can anyone recommend a speedier way to get thi...

Hierarchical factors
...of 4-digit codes (4231 = Motor Vehicle and Motor Vehicle Parts and Supplies Merchant Wholesalers), then varying numbers of five-digit codes, varying numbers of six-digit codes, etc. At the lowest level (longest code) one can readily tell all the higher levels. For example, 441222 is "Boat Dealers" who are part of 44122, "Motorcycle, Boat, and Other Motor Vehicle Dealers," which is part of 4412 (Other Motor Vehicle Dealers), which is part of 441 (Motor Vehicle and Parts Dealers), which is part of 44 (Retail Trade). Redundant and Geobalancing setup
Hi, I use dovecot for a long time now, but only as a single isolated server each time. I joined a company a few years back. We had trouble with compagnies hosting our mail, supposedly full redundant and so on. The company is small, but we have many dealers around the world, and it's growing. Mail became the fist choice for clients to contact the dealers. No mail, and we loose sales. For now we have a single server ( with a backup ) on east coast. And sometimes peoples from EU complain about speed.... ah users :) What I'd like to implement...

WARRNING REGARDING Support from 2n.cz !!!!
Just a warring for everybody regarding this company. I emailed 2n.cz to buy 2 gateways to integrate 3g network and GSM with my asterisk box. They emailed me back to contact the local dealer for them. So I did and I bought the 3G analog gateway (bought from the local dealer) and BLUEVoice gateway(I bought it from a dealer in Serbia when I was there for a meeting) too. Having problems setting them up I was looking for the updates of the software (the software from the CD has HUGE bugs,...

Nortel Phones.

Intel 10G X520-2 and iscsi storage poor performance
...600Q-D316 Storage is configured with 8*SATA Drives raid 5 for test, connected trought a Cisco UCS 6100 Series Fabric Interconnect 10G Switch. I formated the storage with ext4 defaults, one volume and got r/w rates about 10MB/s some up to 40MB/s .... VERY POOR.... So we returned the storage to our dealer and they tested the hardware and did some IO Meter Test with VMware ESXi 5.1 Server -> virtual Windows 2k8-R2 on the Qsan Storage. The VM did some r/w IO Meter Benchmark up to 1000 MB/Sec. Better. Hardware looks o.k. Than they installed a Windows 2k8-R2 server and attached the QSAN. The r/w sp...

GEN-GEN and Manual Ring-Down (MRD)?
Does anyone here know anything about GEN-GEN analogue circuits, also known as Manual Ring-Down (MRD)? Apparently they are widely used in Hoot'n'Holler systems for financial dealer-boards. I have been asked to try and interface to such circuits, and have been having great difficulty locating any specifications for the interface. Apparently, they are always-on 2-wire analogue circuits with no tip voltage or loop current, and on-demand superimposed ringing voltage in either d...

dual-booting <- Re: installing Cents os server 7.0
...ively impossible. Very few people know how to do this. > > Relatively few people know how to write C programs, but that doesn?t make it "effectively impossible? to write them, nor does it mean that CentOS can?t run C programs. Bad analogy. Car doesn't come with a CD player. Does the dealer support your user installed CD player? No. Your CD player, you installed it, you support it, or whoever you paid to install it can support it, not the car manufacturer or dealer's problem. And the same here, dual boot is not a supported feature on RHEL/CentOS, the piece to enable that is missi...

What ATA should I buy?
I have running * without any Digium (or any other) hardware. Now I need to connect analog FAX machine to it. I think that cheapest and easiest way is to buy ATA. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Now, which ATA should I buy? Local dealer sells those four. I can buy something else (if there is any reason for it), but I prefer something of this. One more question, can I plug two lines in any of those ATA-s? Sipura SPA-2100 SIP-ATA 160$ Sipura SPA-1001 SIP-ATA 125$ ALL7902 IP SIP ATA Adapter / Router 106$ Grandstream HandyTone...

Question3: Are there any recommended BIOS settings to operate the RAM slower to see if the problem disappears? Question4: Any other proposals. Being located in Germany makes the "just return it to the dealer" proposal quite unattractive. best regards --- Michael Schumacher PAMAS Partikelmess- und Analysesysteme GmbH Dieselstr.10, D-71277 Rutesheim Tel +49-7152-99630 Fax +49-7152-996333 Gesch?ftsf?hrer: Gerhard Schreck Handelsregister B Stuttgart HRB 252024
