[Bug 447586] [NEW] megatec_usb does not work anymore with a Trust PW-4130M UPS
...ersion (subversion trunk).
For more info on getting and compiling the development release:
http://buildbot.ghz.cc/~buildbot/docs/r2003-144/website/download.html
Note that you don't need to install nut ; simply running from the build
directory is sufficient, using:
$ sudo ./drivers/megatec_usb -DDDDD -a <upsname>
you might also give a try to blazer_usb, which will replace megatec*
$ sudo /lib/nut/blazer_usb -DDDDD -a <upsname>
and/or
$ sudo ./drivers/blazer_usb -DDDDD -a <upsname>

MGE Pulsar Extreme - restart problem
Hello,
looking for replacements for some older Powerware equipment I found the MGE
Pulsar Extreme 1000C and I'm currently testing one with nut-2.0.3 on a
self-brewn i386-linux.
Upto now everything seems to work fine - except I can't get the power outlets
switching on again after mains returns. As this works with Personal
Solution-Pac 2 on W2k I thought that there might be a way to

about Smart-Ups RT
Hi everyone,
I just want to know about driver support over new APC smart models. My
company recently bought a Smart-Ups RT model: SURT3000XLI and a I cannot do
to make work it with last version of nut software.
Maybe this model it doesn?t supported yet and I want to know if so.
The diference with others models like matrix or backup ones is the famous
Smart Cable: 940-1525A (utp - db9).

megatec_usb.c modification for UPSONIC PROFFICE 650 USB
...ort to the
NUT list ;-)
code changes are also better using patch (ie diff against the original
code).
so I've generated one, attached.
that being said, you should give a try to blazer_usb, the successor of the
megatec_usb driver.
we will be interested in a debug output (ie /path/to/blazer_usb -DDDDD -a
<upsname>
along with the output of "lsusb -v" excerpt of your device.
now, since I don't know much about these drivers, I'll let Arjen comment on
the patch itself.
cheers,
Arnaud
