Alex may have more info. can you check the latest development version (subversion trunk). For more info on getting and compiling the development release: http://buildbot.ghz.cc/~buildbot/docs/r2003-144/website/download.html Note that you don't need to install nut ; simply running from the build directory is sufficient, using: $ sudo ./drivers/megatec_usb -DDDDD -a <upsname> you might also give a try to blazer_usb, which will replace megatec* $ sudo /lib/nut/blazer_usb -DDDDD -a <upsname> and/or $ sudo ./drivers/blazer_usb -DDDDD -a <upsname> cheers, Arnaud -- Linux / Unix Expert R&D - Eaton - http://www.eaton.com/mgeops Network UPS Tools (NUT) Project Leader - http://www.networkupstools.org/ Debian Developer - http://www.debian.org Free Software Developer - http://arnaud.quette.free.fr/ -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... Maybe it's time to stop shipping those binary packages and simply ship a self-contained source that could batch-compile itself (something similar to the ports structure of bsd)? //Svein - -- - --------+-------------------+------------------------------- /"\ |Svein Skogen | svein at d80.iso100.no \ / |Solberg ?stli 9 | PGP Key: 0xE5E76831 X |2020 Skedsmokorset | svein at jernhuset.no / \ |Norway | PGP Key: 0xCE96CE13 | | svein at stillbilde.net ascii | | PGP Key: 0x58CD33B6 ribbon |System Admin | svein-listmail at stillbilde.net Campaign|stillbilde.net | PGP Key: 0x22D494A4 +-------------------+------------------------------- |msn messenger: | Mobile Phone: +47 907 03 575 |svein at jernhuset.no | RIPE handle: SS16503-RIPE - --------+-------------------+------------------------------- If you really are in a hurry, mail me at svein-mobile at stillbilde.net This mailbox goes directly to my cellphone and is checked even when I'm not in front of my computer. - ------------------------------------------------------------ Picture Gallery: https://gallery.stillbilde.net/v/svein/ - ------------------------------------------------------------ -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.9 (MingW32) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org/ iEYEARECAAYFAkrQQkgACgkQODUnwSLUlKR8DgCdHbvWAei6YxGydZ+3O5CTBYTn dQIAoJQzXJGbkN1dkn857yrKz2qx6k+S =68On -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----

It was discussed in June: http://lists.alioth.debian.org/pipermail/nut-upsdev/2009-June/003906.html The best thing to do is to use blazer_usb instead of megatec_usb. -- Alexander -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed...
