Since the latest wine builds wine don't finds the gstreamer-dev files. When i try to to compile wine 1.3.15 wine finds them but not for wine 1.3.27. I had a packages installed that are needed to build wine ( i installed them through apt-get build-dep wine1.3).This problem also happens at the building of the latest ppa packages for ubumtu amd64.

So I used to use the winepulse patch for wine. (Yes I like pulse). But since 1.3.25+ uses mmdevapi for audio, that patch no longer works. That author points to a wine multimedia git, however, after installing that I have no more sound in any wine application, and the winecfg test audio says audio failed. Since 1.3.28 there should be a " Device configuration dialog in DirectInput.". Where do i find this dialog ? In winecfg thre is no such dialog.

HI all, I have Wine 1.3.26 installed on my Linux Mint 11 system, and have installed Steam. Steam runs, but it runs incredibly slowly, and causes the rest of the computer to also run very slowly. Hello, After upgrading wine from 1.3.27 -> 1.3.28 I found I got no sound when a different application (which uses the sound) is running in the background. Workaround for me is to kill all sound, load up the wine application and alt+tab back to start a non wine application. It's not optimal but a workaround.
