Yet another HID device - Cyberpower AE550
...one and their 485 don't provide a load measurement -- the Windows drivers kick it onto battery for a timed period and measure the drain to guess the runtime -- apparently all their other HID models do offer it. (See the note hidden on item 7 of the 'Status Window' documentation: http://cyberpowersystems.com/pp_pe.asp) Also, Ubuntu's package of 2.0.3 doesn't populate /etc/hotplug/usb; I can't tell if that's really a problem or not. -Gratefully and sleep-deprived, -Joe "Floid" Kanowitz

...hutdown command coincided with the UPS's own notion of "critical battery" (and associated beeping), which is about 2 minutes runtime remaining (I have about 36 minutes at my typical load). I don't think the UPS's critical level is adjustable. = Product link = http://www.cyberpowersystems.com/products/ups-systems/adaptive-sinewave-series/CP1000PFCLCD.html -------------- next part -------------- An embedded and charset-unspecified text was scrubbed... Cyber Power LE1000DG UPS
I have a Cyber Power LE1000DG UPS I got from Best Buy this weekend. I plan to use it with a TrueNAS scale system, and it is connected via USB. Vendor link: https://www.cyberpowersystems.com/product/ups/battery-backup/le1000dg/. TrueNAS has you pick a UPS driver. I could not find any "LE" related models on https://networkupstools.org/stable-hcl.html (which is the list TrueNAS uses). Per your guidance on that page, I tried one that I hoped was compatible: "Cyber Powe...
