counting rows via associations
...table called clients and each client has many lists (a has_many and belongs_to has been created in the class. What I need to do is get a count of the rows in each list for each client. I was hoping I could do something like client.lists.count but it does not seem to work. Any suggestions? bruce

Why do Zaptel calls drop all of a sudden? Could busy detect be the problem?

Yes, but my point is that there would be some overhead to do cast the <N x i1> vectortype to an integerNty. Is there any good way to check not all of these N bits in the vectortype are 0s? Can I get RubyOnRails to read and parse an html file off harddrive?
I do this in ASP to read a special html template that I use, then modify in code before spitting out the resulting webpage. Any ideas on how to script this in RUBY? Do I need a special GEM package? dumping out mysql data only (no structure)
Is it possible? It is mentioned in AWDWR but I cannot find that option in the MySQL documentation. I can dump the whole db or just the structure, but I''d like to be able to dump just the contents. bruce

SSH Console issues with Ubuntu
Hi, When I login to a Ubuntu 10.04 virtual machine instance running in Xen through SSH, the console''s lines are clipped at the middle section of my 15.6" screen. What TERMINAL software do you use for MS Windows platform and WHY?

Asterisk 1.4 or 1.6 automated install script for CentOS 5.3 or 5.4
Hi Guys, Other than than yum repository (which fails when installing freepbx with it) are there any automated install scripts out there that would install Asterisk 1.6 or 1.4 onto a CentOS LAMP system? What do you use for Invoicing?
