Unknown signalling method 'bri_cpe
Hello, Using libpri-1.4.7 and asterisk-1.6.0.1, I've got "Unknown signalling method 'bri_cpe" when "module load chan_dahdi.so". Googling with "chan_dahdi bri_net" don't help much. Shall I upgrade to 1.6.1rcXXX to get 'bri_cpe" support ? Regards -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL: http://lists.digium.com/pip...

Asterisk 1.4.38 - unknown signalling bri_cpe
Hi, we upgraded an Asterisk 1.4 with mISDN to 1.6 with chan_dahdi. Due to problems with iax channel posted earlier, we wanted to switch back to 1.4 version. Server has 2 HBA cards, everything is running fine with 1.6, bri_cpe is recognized and the 7 euroISDN channels are running well, ingoing and outgoing. Now we installed 1.4.38 version and no more ISDN. In logs we found this: [2010-12-24 14:50:38] VERBOSE[1773] logger.c: == Parsing '/etc/asterisk/chan_dahdi.conf': [2010-12-24 14:50:38] VERBOSE[1773] lo...

Who causes the congestion or can I mix?
...so I need to find out whether my side is causing the CONGESTION. Has somebody tried to setup a dialgroup where P2P, P2MP, and POTS devices are all part of the same group? This would also solve my problem. In chan_dahdi.conf there would be something like context=from-pstn-p2p group=2 signalling=bri_cpe channel =>1-2 context=from-pstn-p2p group=2 signalling=bri_cpe channel =>4-5 context=from-pstn-p2p group=2 signalling=bri_cpe channel =>7-8 context=from-pstn-p2mp group=2 signalling=bri_cpe_ptmp channel =>10-11 which mixes 2 P2P (4 voice channels) and 1 P2MP (2 voice channels). Silly (??) question about chan_dahdi
Hi, these are my first steps with DAHDI and I finally managed to get asterisk to load chan_dahdi (after I found out, that I need libpri). But how do I tell chan_dahdi on which isdn numbers it should react? I haven't found a parameter like "incomingmsn" for chan_capi in the documentation. Thanks for your help, Stefan

DAHDI: How to supress notification of changing CallerID on transfer?
...phone. I don't want this to happen and can't figure out how to disable this on DAHDI or at least the current channel. I tried "facilityenable=no" in chan_dahdi.conf, but this only supresses signalling the on hold status. We are using a german ISDN "Anlagenanschluss" (bri_cpe) whith DDI served by the Deutsche Telekom, connected to a ISDN card which is used with DAHDI. Is there a hidden config flag or something to disable this for DAHDI? Or maybe a channel variable to temporarily disabling this on some channels? THANK YOU! Greetings from Wuppertal Max

Dahdi, b410p and looping from 1 port to another
Hello, Is it possible, for testing, to connect an cat5 straight patch cord between 2 ports of a Digium B410P card and use these 2 ports as a normal dahdi trunk ? I've tried this: One port is set as NT, the other as TE. I would expect timing to come for system hardware so I choose in /etc/dahdi/system.conf : span=1,0,0,ccs,ami span=2,0,0,ccs,ami Results: - both ports lights are green -
