If you are using Microsoft Outlook and you are reading this message you
need to make 500% sure you are not propagating virii. I posted our

have never posted it in an unprotected fashion like that anywhere else.
So far today we have received over a hundred email virii to that address.
I suggest you upgrade to a more secure

How often do you guys see Event 6 and 8 on your PRI?
(aka "HDLC Abort" and "HDLC Bad FCS")
Is this normal? I would think not.

Flexible Call Parking Solution
These all work with sip native transfers and sip attended transfers in the
example of "query" option. I tested this on my 7960 and it works great.
Please others test it.
cd /usr/src/asterisk
cp contrib/scripts/astxs /usr/bin/
cd apps
wget http://www.bkw.org/app_valetparking.c
cd ..
astxs -install apps/app_valetparking.c

Call Screen Macro Not Exiting when call rejected
This is a followup to the posting earlier about Hunt Groups with Call
Screening.
I have implemented the following macro and for some reason the Macro does
not exit and continue the context it was called from when the called party
rejects the call - It always drops through to the NoOp at the end and
connects the call.
Below are two examples of the dial commands I am using to call the macro.

SDP messages relating to rtpmap Question
SDP question if * recieves "a=rtpmap:103 telephone-event/8000" it shouldn't
it send out the same "a=rtpmap:103 telephone-event/8000" to the other side
of the connection? and not something like "a=rtpmap:101
telephone-event/8000"?
Thanks

iaxtel and iax.conf
...this:
iaxtel inbound will use the last entry in your iax.conf to auth against.
So if [iaxtel] is at the top and say [voicepulse] at the bottom. An
inbound call will try to auth against that [voicepulse] entry even with
the [iaxtel] entry at the top of the file. Has anyone else seen this
happen?

crash on 2 gig file
...lse.
Of course I manually fixed the problem by deleteing the 2gig file from the
backup machines and so tonights rsync should re-create the 0-byte versions
and update the other files no problem, but I just wanted to log the bug.
Thanks

Ripping CD audio for MOH
Hello-
I've got some audio CDs that I'd like to use for MOH.
What's the best way to do this? I don't care if it's mp3 or some other
format - whatever will work best.
What applications (osx or linux) are best? Optimal settings?
Thanks-
Tom
