Attatch monitor recording to a voicemail
Hello All, Our old Lucent Argent system had a feature whereby when you initiate recording during a call, it would afterwards send the recording as a voicemail message to the user who initiated the recording. We use the automon *1 recording function in asterisk, which allows users to record a call if necessary on the fly. Unfortunately there doesn't appear to be an easy way for the user to

Latest switcher patches, bugfix.
I've attatched a patch to fix a bug in the latest switcher patches that got put into CVS. Basically, window order with minimized windows is undefined, and this fixes it. Also, I notice that in some cases switcher fails to get an icon for a window. Perhaps the icon code is forcing a search for a specific size,...

can't get samba 3.0.14a to work with ldap
...smbclient seems to work for Administrator but not anyone else but I can't join any machines to the domain (XP has given me many different errors, but the most recent is "the specified network name is no longer available") I am assuming that posting long messages with every config file attatched is probably not going to win me any friends, so i have put them on the web at http://thor.ssfs.org/samba/ Thanks in advance, Rich

[PATCH] Link breaks for large NR_CPUS
ext2 & ext3 lists, Attatched is a patch that allows ext2 and ext3 to link correctly when the kernel is configured with a large NR_CPUS. We do have an immediate need for this patch. Any opinions on this? The per-cpu lists are causing the kmalloc to fail due to allocating more than the max. thanks mh -- Martin Hicks...

shuffling of data
I have a file that reads like this: Species,Year,Julian_day Alnus_glutinosa, 1873, 123 Sorbus_aucuparia, 1873, 122 ....(more species...) Alnus_glutinosa, 1874, 134 Sorbus_aucuparia, 1874, 143 ....(more species and years) Is there a way to plot this as julian day over years so that each species get a different color? A polar.plot BUG in plotrix 1.3.3 ?
...pos=c(0,90,180,270)) produces absurd compass lines but the correct results are obtained if label.pos is scaled with pi/180 : polar.plot(c(5,10,5,0),c(-10,0,10,20),rp.type='P', labels=c("A","N","V","S"),label.pos=c(0,90,180,270)*pi/180) I have attatched the polar.plot function from the two different versions of the package. It seems that if not missing then label.pos is not changed at all in version 1.3.3 So, a feature or a bug? videolan
Everyone might be interested in knowing that videolan's cvs tree, combined with the excruciatingly simple patch attatched, is capable of playing back chained ogg/theora+vorbis streams. (encoded with example cvs). For example, icecast video. videolan has decided to parse vorbis, speex, theora headers with its own code. There's an ogg demuxer (the file I patched) and the codecs are each in separate files, of cou...

TDM400P question.
...My drivers seem to modprobe fine. My card show up as "Found a Wildcard FXS: Wildcard S400P Prototype (4 modules)" in dmesg and no apparent errors...yeah. Is "S400P Prototype" OK for this card? My real question is physical appearance of the card. ALL the pictures show 4 modules attatched to the TDM400P (on the top edge of the card from front to back). Mine only has 1. So, Should I have 4 modules or 1? What do my missing modules do? Nothing found with the search for "TDM400P" via google. The current google search from the digium does not yet register any of the recent stu...

Can USB:syslinux install another USBstik?
When a USBstiked-syslinux starts, it's the PC's firmare that's reading the USB ? But once the USBsyslinux takes over, has IT also got a USB driver? Since my MotherBoard & 2009 Slackware built USBstik syslinux booter were stolen I bought a <WinTel> laptop and USBextender to access my old IDE & SATA disks. With WinTel's new arrangement of not allowing the tail of the

Session is being shared between tabs!!??
I have just spotted quite a serious problem with my rails app. My app uses the session to store information. Most people who use the app may have more than one instance of it open in their browser (multiple tabs). The session stores which country the user has selected. On each browser tab the user may select a different country. You can add items to a country. There are problems with

PCI, PCI-X and PCI-e -- Server / Interface Card Selection
...r example, a Proliant ML350 G4 or G5 containing PCI-X slots -- would such combination be technically feasible ? If not, where are you guys getting servers for your PCI based solutions ? Can anyone shed some light into my doubts ? Pointers, documentation, experiences ? The second, kind of "attatched" issue, is associated to the growing PCI-e buses in the current servers. I know Sangoma already has a PRI card for PCI-e. What about Digium ? Other PRI, BRI manufacturers ? Thanks in advance and regards to all, -- Ex Vito

[LLVMdev] A question about 'llc -march=c'
Hello friends working on LLVM, I am a beginner to LLVM. I tried to get C code from LLVM bitcode using 'llc -march=c'. But it seems to me that it doesn't work if the source program is a C++ program. Am I right? I have attatched the source program and the result of compiling the C code of it with GCC4.3.3. By the way, has LLVM's C code backend been tested on benchmarks like spec? Sorry if I missed the answers on websites. Best regards, Liang Peng -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scru...
