metafor and meta-analysis at arm-level
...ully someone more experienced
on it can clarify that to me. I can see that it can take data in both
forms, arm and trial level, but it looks as if the arm-level information
would be converted into trial one through escalc and the latter then used
for the meta-analysis. Is that right?
Many thanks.

Why Struts2 use dojo instead of Scriptaculous?
...swer to Struts forum to use scriptaculous.
I find that sriptaculous have a lot of effects (drag/drop) and widget (like
tafeltree) more pleasant than dojo.
But if there is not solutions with portlet environnment, I should use dojo,
and I find it''s shame.
Thank you for your answer.

Non linear modeling
AFAIK most model fitting techniques will only deal with additive errors, not
multiplicative ones. You might want to try fitting:
log(y-x) = a*x + e
which is linear.

PHP probes
Hi all,
I remember at OSCON 2005 there was talk of adding DTrace probes
to PHP (in fact, I have a photo of Bryan and Wes working on it!).
Did they ever get into the upstream branch, ''cause I don''t recall
seeing a --enable-dtrace (or similar) configuration option when
I recently built PHP 5.2.1. If not, is there an ETA?
TIA,

Strange scope problem

something similar that I can use?
I am using R 1.6.1 for Unix on a Sun Workstation. I know that I need
to upgrade but our sysadmin doesn't regard it as priority!
Thanks for any help you can give for this.
