Static Problem... Ahhh!
Hello, Has anyone else ever experienced Static Problems with a T100P connected to an Adtran Total Access 750? We have two FXO modules in the Chasis to interface to Verizon. At first I thought it was just one line, and was Verizon's fault, but now we are seeing it across all lines and it comes and goes. It's sort of weird, because only we can hear the static most of the time. The

Win XP-home connecting to Samba, ahhh, please help!
...y with different workgroup names, so I can see when the Windows computers sees the new workgroup, however, I have yet to ever be able to see the Linux computer under any of the new workgroups, even clicking on the new workgroup ends up timing out and saying it can't find that network resource. Ahhhhh, so you see the frustration! I have gone through the smb.conf file about 100 times, trying different options, turning others off, absolutely nothing has helped. I tried to use the SWAT config tool, however that isn't available for Samba 2.2.5 apparently, which is what shipped with RH 8.0....

DomU Kernel Mapping
Where is the code that maps the kernel of a DomU into memory? i.e, when you do a xm create <config file> what code is called to actually map the kernel into memory? Is it a python script or is it re-directed to Dom0 to do? Thanks. -Brian --------------------------------- Ahhh...imagining that irresistible "new car" smell? Check outnew cars at Yahoo! OT: real 2 line phone vs. 1 line and call waiting
I'm looking into getting a new phone and wondering what the difference in functionality is between a single line phone with call waiting and a real 2 line phone (either a real SIP phone or an analog 2 line phone and a 2 port ATA) is. Why would I want the real 2 lines vs. just being able to take an incoming call via call-waiting? Cheers, b. -------------- next part -------------- A non-text

tunnel iax via gnophone with ssh?
Hey all...I'm trying to use gnophone to connect to my asterisk box behind my firewall..I thought I could just setup a tunnel with something like ssh host.com -L5036:asteriskserver:5036 and just change my gnophone to connect to localhost:5036 but I never see anything happen on the asterisk server. I'm even trying this on the same network just in case there is something funky with NAT.
