Hey, I've installed COD4 V1.6 in Intrepid using wine 1.1.9 from the repos on an x64 machine with an E2180 and Asus 9800gt ultimate. I'm using the Nvidia restricted drivers Anyone seeing better than 20fps? That's all I seem to get, even if I kill compiz beforehand. Any help would be awesome! Thanks

I just finally succeeded in making the world of warcraft work on my thinkpad t60, but I'm getting less than 1/5th of the speed that I was getting in Windows. Is that normal? I'm getting between 5-12fps regardless of resolution or windowed mode. Core duo 2ghz, 1g ram, ATI x1400, Ubuntu Edgy. Thanks in advance.

Running Ubuntu 10.04, Nvidia driver version 260.19.29, 3 GB RAM, AMD Phenom Quad-Core, wine-1.3.11. I notice no difference in performance whether OpenGL is enabled or not. Does this mean D3D is now working and I don't need OpenGL now? I get close to 80fps in some places, which is great, but in a raid or other places with a lot of toons and activitiy, Wow practically freezes up and becomes unplayable. Is there a tweak I can do to improve this situation?

After upgrading to a Club 3D Radeon 5770 overclocked edition i was finally able to get some good fps out of wow... 90 => 110 FPS in Stanglethorn Vale with all the graphics option to their lowest setting possible. However last night the game installed patch 3.3.0 => 3.3.2.... Afer doing that upgrade the game actually runs at about 60 FPS now if i am lucky.... Mostly when i walk around the
