directory permissions set to 600?
Hello all, Today, I ran across a directory in /etc/ on one of our servers whose permissions where set to 600 (drw-------) with root being the owner. The directory is for the firewall package for the server, so it is not something malicious. Checking some other systems, they also have this directory and the permissions on those servers is also 600, so it isn't just a messed up permissions on this one m...

Asterisk sends 486 Busy Here instead of 600 Busy Everywhere
Hi, We have a scenario wherein the endpoint needs to send a 600 Busy Everywhere after receiving an INVITE. I am using SIPp as this end point. SIPp is configured as UE2. Now when UE1 calls UE2 (SIPp) receives the INVITE and responds with a 600 Busy Everywhere. But when Asterisk receives this 600 response it sends out a 486 Busy Here to UE1. Ideally Asterisk...

TE405P + Adit 600 and FXO module - should this work?
Folks, I'm experimenting with bringing multiple (8) analog lines from our local telco into a Carrier Access ADIT 600 channel bank with an FXO module, then having this talk to Asterisk via the T1 TDM controller on the ADIT and a TE405P card. I don't know if this will work well (ie: give me decent echo cancellation, call disconnect supervision, caller ID etc) but I haven't had much luck getting this combin...

adit 600 fxo ports immediately "answers" outgoing calls (even if not connected to line)
I have an adit 600 with an fxo card connected to a digium T1 card. If I try to make an outgoing call and the T1 cable is disconnected, asterisks returns congested like it should. But, if the adit 600 is connected to the T1 card, the adit 600 immediately "answers" the call even if there are no physical line...

functions within a list
...example. I would like to take the mean of different variable values in the entire list. As an example, say I have a list with 1000 elements and variables called Id and Tick. What I would like to do is take the mean of a variable called X for each Tick in the data element. So, there can be say 1 to 600 tick values per element in a list, that would mean I would like to find the 600 mean values for each of the ticks values in the 1000 elements. I tried a simple attempt below, but I am sure it is way off as it didn't produce what I expected: //res=res[[1..1000]] weightX<-sapply(res, functi...

Dialing out on TDM400p 4 port FXO

How can I make it so Extension 500 always dials out on line 1 and extension 600 always dials out on line 2. Below is the relevant snippets of the extensions.conf, sip.conf, and Zapata.conf. extensions.conf [sales1] exten => s,1,Dial(SIP/500) exten => _9.,1,Dial(Zap/g1/${EXTEN}:1) [sale...

Asterisk with Adit 600

...,3,4,5), Hunger =c(415,452,550,318 )) myframe Now I would like to add a column to the right which summarizes the values for Hunger somewhat to reduce the number of values: If the values for Hunger are between 300-400 I would like to insert the number 350, between 400-500 insert 450 between 500-600 insert 550 Does anyone know how? Cause I don't and my brain already hurts.
