this is what I see on asterisk CLI and it is kind of annoying. What only
this phone does this and no other. Its on a remote location. All phones are

What does this mean? select(1, [0], , NULL, {60, 0}) = 0 (Timeout)
...sely before. I added this
(https://rsync.samba.org/issues.html) rsync-debug.sh script with strace
of 100. But I have no idea how to interper this output.
I guess between 00:55:41 and 03:06:47 nothing is happening? And then
some timeout is generated? What does this 'select(1, [0], [], NULL, {60,
0}) = 0 (Timeout)' mean?

What does this mean? select(1, [0], , NULL, {60, 0}) = 0 (Timeout)
From man 2 select:
int select(int nfds, fd_set *readfds, fd_set *writefds,
fd_set *exceptfds, struct timeval *timeout);
So, it is waiting for file descriptor #1 to become available with a 60
second timeout which it is hitting.
Use lsof to find out what file descriptor #1 is.

Lustre Client - Memory Issue
Hi Guys,
My users are reporting some issues with memory on our lustre 1.8.1 clients.
It looks like when they submit a single job at a time the run time was about
4.5 minutes. However, when they ran multiple jobs (10 or less) on a client
with 192GB of memory on a single node the run time for each job was
exceeding 3-4X the run time for the single process. They also noticed that

manipulating data of several columns simultaneously
Dear all,
I have a question concerning manipulating data of several columns of a
dataframe at the same time.
I manage to do it for one column (with the use of the specific name for this
column).
In each columns, I have 60 values. But I should reorganize the values
(because I created this as an output before and I want to compare it with an
other dataset). I want that the value on row 2 becomes the value of row 1,
value 3 value 2 and so on. The first value would be NA.
If I would do this for 1 column (with the nam...
