Digium mailing list server maintenance - Thursday, June 14, 5PM to 8PM CDT
The Digium mailing list server (lists.digium.com) is being replaced with
a new system that will provide better performance and more reliability.
Our IT staff will begin the first step (and hopefully complete the task)
of this migration during the evening tomorrow, June 14th, from 5PM to
8PM Central Time in the USA. During this time the list server will not
accept incoming messages and will not distribute messages. Any messages
sent to the lists should be queued by the sending mail servers and will
be accepted one the new list server is brought into service.

if statement recording - after hours
In my dial plan I have these two lines:
exten => _NXXXXXX,n,Set(recordfilename=${CALLERID(num)}-${EXTEN}-${STRFTIME(${EPOCH},MST,%C%y-%m-%d-%H%M)}.wav)
exten => _NXXXXXX,n,MixMonitor(${recordfilename},b)
How to add "if" statement to execute these line only after let say 5pm. To record conversation only after 5pm.

Limiting Users
When using windows NT and Netware there are ways of limiting the logins of
users such as only allowing them on between 9am - 5pm and limiting maximum
concurrent connection to one. Is there a way of enforcing these
restrictions through samba or similar?
Many thanks

I noticed there is a 3.3 branch in svn, but not in git. Anton, are you
still the one managing the git repos?
Also, I just added a note to the release info on trunk before noticing
we had branched. I was about to port it over, but then noticed that

An issue of I login my mail server from webmail client
Dear all:
I have a really strange issue, that is when I login my mail server from
webmail client (I used SquirrelMail, by the way, I have modified
squirrelmail's timeout value, that means not since squirrelmail timeout), I
will got timeout issue when I login about 5PM ~ 10PM everyday (it works fine
on other time, I also check my cron, that looks no problem), and during this
time, I also cannot connect my 993 port with openssl like this:
openssl s_client -connect myDomainName:993
But when I use mail client (such as outlook) to access dovecot, that works
fine, a...

Cisco 79xx and SIP 7.5 Problems
...s, mainly that after 3
calls on a phone, if they try to xfer or do any ohter things
(sometimes just answer the 4th call) the phone freezes, they have had
this happen to them throughout the week. Until yesterday I decided it
must be a frimware problem, so I downgraded them to 7.1. Since then
(around 5PM EST yesteday) it didn't happen *yet*. So I'm assuming it
has to do with the firmware.
So my question is, is anybody else using 7.5 firmware?
If yes, do you have all the line buttons configured to the same SIP account?
If yes, do you see the same problem?
I also noticed that with 7.5 firmwa...

Hello,
At 5pm today, we had an individual notify me that their 'profile' no longer was
accessible from the samba server (solaris 8 , smb 2.2.2). The person just had
their laptop reimaged and the new M$ service-pack 4 was installed on it.
They can access their 'home directory' just not the profile...

OT: VoIP Users Conf Feb 4 with LifeSize
...conference.
Additionally, there are a few things to be considered:
1. If you want to win a webcam you must register for the call with
LifeSize. They have put up a page on their web site specifically for
the VUC. That url is:
http://www.lifesize.com/voip-register
Registration will be open until 5pm CST Friday, Jan 28th. This allows
us some time to see that the webcams are distributed before the call
the following week.
2. If you want to join the video portion of the call you must use a
LifeSize client. Unless you have LifeSize hardware already that means
the LifeSize Desktop for Windows 2.0....
