I can play WoW perfectly, it is 100% stable and I can get great fps. One problem though, when I minimize the game and I maximize it, sometimes I can just keep playing happily but sometimes thats not the case. I minimize it, maximize it again and the FPS drops to about 10-20fps (anywhere). As you might know, this is VERY annoying, I've tried changing loads of settings in-game with no help. Hey, I've installed COD4 V1.6 in Intrepid using wine 1.1.9 from the repos on an x64 machine with an E2180 and Asus 9800gt ultimate. I'm using the Nvidia restricted drivers Anyone seeing better than 20fps? That's all I seem to get, even if I kill compiz beforehand. Any help would be awesome! Thanks

hi there, i'm trying to play oblivion, the game installs and run fine but there's still some minor problems. in nature (woods, mountains..), here and there, objects and texture seem to be missing.. kind of like if i used "noclip" and walking though objects.. so at time i can see though parts of a mountains, or run into a big rock , i cannot move forward any further but i cannot

I don't have a terrible computer so I should be getting at least 60+ fps. What I'm getting is 20-30fps sometimes even less like 12-20fps. It really depends on what's going on. Now if I set the game to the ABSOLUTE lowest possible setting, that is turn off everything and set the textures to low it runs at 60+ fps. However, the game looks terrible!
