samba - Nov 2019 - Windows 10 password expiration

Hi All

Having issues with windows 10 where the password does not expire whether I use
the samba policy or a new group policy object

I run rsop.msc where I can see the settings are there and loaded to expire the
password after x days but never get asked for a new password

Anyone got any clues please
